Blimey.......can you package whatever it is that gave you that burst of energy and pop it in the post to me!!
The new total is quite motivating - hoping to see it change quite a bit this year!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

We had that problem. I don't think we've been to see a santa since Lapland three years ago (saves on money though, I suppose!). Another after effect is that DD still absolutely believes in Santa aged 9. After all, why wouldn't she? She's met the real one!0 -
The guy in the shop up the road is an old family friend so he will know stuff about ds so that may impress himMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

The list isn't going too well yet today, so far I've had my bath but thats it
Right, I must get on ... I'll go and do some bits and will come back at 12 as long as I've got some bits done off the list

Hi Benben! We went to see the real Santa too, a good few years ago now, but DD was having one of her "very ill" phases and was so ill that she didn't want to sit with Santa, and fell asleep instead! I was not impressed. What had made it worse was that the day before we went to Lapland we were burgled, so had been up all night with the police and the fingerprint guys etc, so by the time we actually got to Lapland, the last thing I wanted to do was traipse around a forest in the cold and dark!! A couple of years ago, DD said "Mummy, you know we went to see Santa in Lapland and I was ill and so I didn't want to see him? Well, now that I am better, can we go back?"
NOOOOOOO!!!!!
Of course it did prolong the belief in Santa for a lot longer than most kids we know, so I suppose the magic lasted!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
