Lucky you! I must have made all of 75p after fees last week! I hope this week will be better though.
School shoes cost way too much, I'm brainwashed too into thinking they must be Clarks and properly fitted yet DS spends most non-school time in footie boots which only come in one width fitting.Mortgage OP 2025 £6200/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Last night I decided I'd really better start making an effort towards the comping challenge, so I downloaded roboform ...its fabulous!!
I then sat and entered about 30 competitions, possibly more. I am going to try and do that a couplr of times a week, possibly when I'm watching corrie or something
I also wrote a huge list of things of things to do today, well I won't get them all done today but its one of those lists of every little niggly job I can think of! I am gonna have ahuge blitz on the list today and also on getting the flat tidy and clean again because at the moment it just looks a mess:o Have also promised ds that we will make fairy caked today too
On the plus side I spoke to ex last night and we actually managed a whole conversation that you would almost describe as friendly (Huge achievement for us, there is still a lot of anger and bitterness there although we are both making an effort to try and get on better for ds sake).
Will report back later once I know where the money situation is up toMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Well, have already done Asda order for delivery tomorrow and have also sorted out bank accounts. Not quite sure how its worked out but I have moved stuff around and at the moment I have got left for the month: £38 for petrol, £75 for food, £160 for general day-to-day stuff. This would mean that my main account is clear again and my other account would be £84 overdrawn but I still have the £50 yougov cheque to pay in and also Talktalk have taken 2 payments from my account this month even though I phoned them last week and explained they've snt me a bill for my old address and my new one even though I cancelled the old one when I moved. They told me not to worry and it would be sorted and I wouldn't be charged:mad: Hmmmm, another phone call coming on there then:rolleyes: Once that gets sorted that account should also be just about clear :j
This would only leave my Next directory account which is approx £450, but my sister has given me a cheque for £90 for her stuff and I have £60 in vouchers too to chuck at it, so that should knock it down to about £300, and then my piggy bank money from this month and my ebay money and any money I can save from my day-to-day budget and petrol budget (car is 3/4 full at the moment) can also be thrown at it to try and get it as low as posible this month:D
I feel better now I know where I am again !!:AMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Ok, so today when I got up I slung on some leggings and an old t-shirt, haven't had a shower or done my hair or anything yet because I knew I'd got cleaning and stuff to do and would be indoors all morning ... and typical, a friend pops round for coffee
 Guaranteed, if I was looking stunning and the place was immaculate no-one would ever pop in

Well I have achieved loads today !! I have done 5 loads of washing and all the ironing (2 months worth!!) and got it all put away. I have finally gutted the cupboard under the sink and the coat/shoes cupboard in the hall, I have cleaned and hoovered through, cleaned the bathroom, emptied and refilled the dishwasher, binned all the old odd bits lurking in the fridge and the food cupboard, sorted out ds wardrobe and taken out all the stuff that doesn't fit / looks tatty and replaced it with the huge pile I bought in the Next sale (Waaaaaaaay too much stuff
) and to top it all I've managed to have a no-spend day too!!
ON the ebay front we are now up to 35 watchers and £23 bids :T
I have just spent an hour entering some more comps while I was watching Location, Location. Tomorrow I need to bank some cheques and do more admin type bits and at some point I need to sort out the boxes in the garage again ready for another car boot (weather permitting) this weekend :beer:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Ebay has gone up to £25 now and 39 watchers (finishes saturday) ... ideally if I could get up to £50 that would be fabulous, then I would have got £100 from ebay/car boot this week :j
I'm waiting for my Asda order at the moment then off to do the admin bits, then I may take d down the beach or for a walk in the forest with his kite again, he loved playing with that the other day and it did knacker him out!
Last night I had a quick look on plentyoffish website (actually ventured out of MSE for a while ) and emailed a cute guy and he's replied this morning !!!:p Gosh, a real live bloke and all that
Hopefully the name tage I ordered for ds school uniform will arrive soon so I can iron them all on and then everything will be ready for his first big dayMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Have had quite a good day so far, have been to the post office and posted off 4 letters and 2 parcels. Was a bit annoyed with Next, I went in a store to pay some of my account but they said you can't pay with vouchers instore on an acount you have to send them off, so I did that and they have to be sent special delivery, so it cost me £4.30 to send them
I went to the bank too and paid in my Yougov cheque and my sisters money for her stuff from Next, and also returned our library books and got ds some new ones. We got "One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish" as hes been learning about rhyming words. He thinks its hilarious!!
Now we're off to make some fairy cakesbut before I go .... I replied to cute guy and he's just replied again !!!:j

Hi Madmoney, I do use the competition bit on here ... first make sure you've downloaded roboform, it saves you having to fill in all the forms and makes it much much quicker
Also, set up a new email account so that you don't get all the junk mail filling your inbox
The competition thread on here is fab because most of the posters even tell you the answers to questions, so its dead easy
I did win a load of Uncle Bens rice and cook-in-sauces at the beginning of the year but I haven't really entered any over the last few months so now that we're all settled in our new house I've got time to get entering!!
I just see it as a little extra like doing the clicks on pigsback etc, if I win anything then thats a bonus!:D
As for the cute guy, well, chances are he won't b the man of my dreams but hey, could be fun!;)Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
