I'm up to £25.50 now but my eyes are hurting so I'm stopping now for tonight ;) My skip rate is down to 51% (needs to be below 45%), so am quite pleased with my progress so far :D Tomorrow after work I have to go to ds school for a meeting and ex said he's going to come too  ... not looking forward to it as we had another "chat" yesterday in which he told me he doesn't want us to keep tying to get on, he hasn't the energy to bother trying anymore and he doesn't think ds will be affected by this    How can I have spent 6 years with such a selfish pig ??? :o:o Love is soooo blind !!!! Hey-ho, I will report back tomorrow evening with how it went :D

Sorry but what energy does it take to get on with you?

I can't understand his point, benben, none of my business mind you, but surely not getting on with someone is harder to do. Surely for ds's sake, he should be civil and get on with you.

Believe me, my boys still reference to a bad b/f their mum had three years ago, kids pick up on that sort of thing, discontent between adults. I'm sorry to sound patronising, I really don't mean to.

Yep I don't get him either .... I sent him a text last night saying I was disappointed with his attitude but it was his choice, and if he ever felt like he did want to make the effort to get on then just let me know as I would always be willing for ds sake :o I'm dreading seeing him there later, I just feel like he's invading my territory now as this is where our life is now and he doesn't have any involvement with it, but I do appreciate he wants to be involved with ds life (albeit when its convienient for him  ).

Hello:hello: good luck with the school stuff this evening, and with being grown up with ex-OH, when all you may prefer to do is to take a frying pan with you and smack him over the head with it!

Well I'm back and the meeting went really well ... it started at 6:30 and I got a text from ex at 6:15 to say he'd just got out of work so wouldn't be able to get there in time so he wasn't coming    ... I was actually quite pleased as at least then I could relax and enjoy myself ;) It was lovely seeing some of the work he's been doing so far and seeing photos of all the little ones in school :D
    Today I spent 30p on a teacake and £1.90 on lunch:D

  • Glad you had an unexpected stress free time at DS school. I know from experience how utterly draining and frustrating it can be trying to stay on good terms with an ex:mad: but at least in the future your ds will know that you always put him first and tried to be civil. I thought my kids weren't taking things in at the time when I was going through the same sort of thing but now and again they comment on their father's lack of interest, and how he would never make things easy. They also notice who is the one taking them to events, doctors, attending school functions etc. It is ex who is losing out on his son's life because of an inability to act like a reasonable grown up:confused::confused::confused:

I've been good and done my AQA'ing for tonight ;) I earned £5.10 tonight and am tired so I stopped, but I'm pleased to have done my target today and the questions seemed quite a lot easier tonight ... obviously not a main pub quiz night ;)
I called ex back but got his answerphone and he hasnt called back ... he never answers his phone to me if he's at home (with g/f) ... think he doesn't want her to know he still speaks to me ... she'll learn what he's ;like one day :rotfl:
