We've had a great day, I did the mystery shop and then we went to pick up ds and stopped off in the forest on the way home. We went for a paddle in the stream and then when we got home another parcel arrived for ds and it was a metal detector, so I a hoping toget rich from discovering hidden treasure :rotfl:

Tonight we're off down the beach to watch the fireworks and then I need to start getting on with some money-making ;):o

Todays spends = 14.99 on computer ink (I will get 5.00 of it back from ms though), 3.40 on pie and chips for tea, 27.00 on petrol

we're always finding roman artefacts - every piece of broken crockery found has a loooong story behind it which either goes back to romans or pirates!:D

How were the fireworks? Think it needs to be a list day for me too, these long holidays are lovely but I have such BIG plans for them as they are apporaching then when htye get here I say to myself 'oh I can do that tomorrow'.
I don't want to go back to work in September feeling I didn't use my time productively.

So.... off I go to make a list

    Morning!
Oh you are so organised with your list already! I feel like I'm slipping a bit at the moment and losing some of the inspiration I had a few weeks ago. I want to make money these hols and to save money on my grocery bill, but I'm not good at writing it down so I don't have any figures to show for it! I tried to make a spreadsheet last night but got in a pickle so gave up! I have a few notebooks I've bought but I get in a muddle over what to write in them aarrghhhhh indecisive me?!

So any tips gratefully received! I'm off to a posh hotel today for a spa day out with the Key Stage 1 staff at school, lovely. then lunch at a teachers house. So a rest for me. Then my girlies home tonight, I'm missed them! Don't like them away for more than one night!!

    Bye for now,
    K:p
I really need to sort out a new signature!

KM ... the fireworks were great, and even better that its free :D:D I'm the same about getting stuff done in the holidays, I've got loads to catch up on today but the weather is supposedto change tomorrow so I think I'll try and get it all done by midafternoon and then head down the beach for a bit ;)

Milly ... your day sounds lovely :D I know what you mean about wanting the girls back, I never relax properly when ds is away, partly cos I don't trust ex to look after him properly  I need to sort my banking stuff out too as its got a bit out of control since we broke up for the holidays :o:o All the extra money I'm making will probably end up going on balancing my account
