I've had a busy weekend, out and about too, so not achieved very much but we do have to enjoy it-that's why we work so hard!
Lucky you finishing school this week, we still have 2 weeks til the hols and I can't wait! I'm soooo tired all the time and just looking forward to relaxing and slowing down. Oh and getting going with ebaying etc and making money!!!:pI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Well the car passed its mot :j :j But the service and mot cost 160.00 altogether  I've no idea if that is good or not as I've never had it done before, but it seems a lot to me  Luckily I have put some away each month and once its paid I'll still have 120.00 in that pot, ready to start of next years pot
I bought lunch at school today (2.30) and had to get some bits in tesco tonight (7.20). Tonight I must sort the car insurance out as it runs out on wednesdayMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

I've just sorted out the car insurance, finally settled for Asda's at 304.00 and hopefully I should get 60.00 back from quidco too
I'm hoping it won't track until friday then I can count it in the summer holiday challenge

Hi benben......just going back through the last few days' threads.....my mortgage is with halifax and I can see it on my online banking.......you can also have "pots" for savings online with them too, so moving the money back and forth is not difficult.....by creating "one off standing orders" each time
Good news about the mot

You do really well to have all the money there for the car and have some left over...
How has DS been at school today?

Thanks guys
The Halifax mortgage sounds exactly what I'm after Hypno, will go and have a look
KM ... he had an okay day today but his teacher said he kept crying this afternoon which is very very unusual for him. He said it was because his best friend hurt him today and he is frightened of him nowI only just had enough in the car insurance pot ... I had saved 306.00 and it cost me 304.00  my renewal quote from m&s was 50.00 higher than last years
Right, I'm off to bed, I have a really tickly throat and my head feels fuzzy, so am getting into bed early with my laptopMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

sleep well and hope you feel better in the morning.
as for the quidco cash - if you don't count it until it is Validated, or Received then it will more likely fall in the summer holidays......"tracked" means nothing anyway.......I have £147.50 tracked for things I never had, and it has been there for months - I know that I won't get it and that it will eventually move to "declined" (and quite rightly so) but it still sits there looking at me!!!!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. His friend hurt him in what way? You don't think he has learnt the hitting from his friend in the first place do you?0
-
Yeah I do tbh KM, his "friend" is one of those kids that no-one else wants to be friends with except for my ds
and when my ds wants to play with someone else this kid can't cope with it  I have mentioned it to the teacher several times but sje says its 50/50 and they are as bad as each other
but I know he never behaved like it until he met him
