Morning
I rang the pet shop today but the lady I've been dealing with and who knows all about Button is off this weekend, so looks like he'll be here for a couple more days at least
I've had a bath and ds has had his tooand I've found a card and a present for the party from my present mountain
, I just need to get some wrapping paper. Most of my flat is tidy except for the lounge which looks like someone dropped a bomb on it
Theres paperwork / cups / guinea pig stuff everywhere
BUT... the sun is starting to come out so we may just go out and ignore it :rotfl:

Hi Benbenandme
I agree with Millyscarlett and KeepingMotivated, you really are amazing the focus you have. I mean, you're now a single mum and here you are overpaying on the mortgage - I think its brilliant. A question about the *method* of overpayment, actually - do you save it up make one overpayment a month, or transfer it across online as the extras come in? Mine is Nationwide, and I've been "overpaying" by transferring across lump sums from savings that reduce my monthly payments, tho I don't have much leeway on that any more .... just wondering what you think is best.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I'd love to be able to pay it off straight away but my mortgage won't let me, I have to pay a minimum of 500.00 at a time  so I transfer all the little bits into an ING account and then every time it hits 500.00 it gets paid off the mortgage
My fixed rate runs out next June and when I remortgage I want to get one that lets me pay bits off as and when I like, and also one that lets me see my balance online, mone doesn't and I have to phone up each time  Its not a big thing but I know being able to see it and track it even closer will make me more motivated to find extra bits to chuck at it

I know what you mean about seeing it - I wonder if you can see the interest you'll be charged on those as well? I'd certainly like to be able to see mine online, maybe you can with Nationwide, but I'm focussing on finding the dosh first!
Have a good one!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Morning all
Last night I went out for dinner with poorly mate and treated her, (21.00), other than that I only spent 70p on the car park for the birthday party and 60p on wrapping paper for the present (all 1p/2p/5p's that were weighing down my purse
).
Today I'm going out with a bunch of mates to a country fair type thing,I'll have to be good and not spend too much while we're thereMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Not quite sure where this weekend went but it seems to have disappeared in a puff of smoke
I'm quite excited about this week at work though as the summer holidays start on friday :j :j and then I can crack on with my summer challenge
Today I spent 5.00 on entry and 5.00 on hog roast for lunchoh, and 25.00 on petrol and 1.50 (reduced
) on a little fold-down tray for the car for ds and 45p on a bag of revels
I need to go and dig out the list I made for this weekend as I dont think I've achieved much of itI also have to take the car in tomorrow morning for its service / mot, so I need to get organised tonight as we need to leave half an hour earlier than normal in the morning.
