Good luck for the date! Bah, another one bites the dust....
Off to our summer fayre today and I've been collared to play in the teachers v parents netball match  . Have never played before except for twenty minutes practice on Tuesday after school and thirty minutes shooting baskets yesterday.... :eek:0 -

Couldn't get on the net yesterday, so missed the countdown to your date - excited to know whether it went well!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Morning guys ... well, it went fine, he is a nice guy, not sure there was much spark though, it was one of those where he seemed quite nervous, maybe if I see him again then it will be easier? He did text me to check I got home okay which I thought was sweet (I had to drive all thru the forest and theres no street lights etc) .. so we'll see, I wasn't blown away but I haven't written it off totally
Today I must sort out my finances before the new month starts  Yesterday I spent 20.00 in Tesco on some shoes and a topand 20.00 on petrol and about 5.00 at ds summer fayre and about 5.00 last night on drinks (both of us were driving so it was a cheap night
).
Scales are showing I've lost another pound today but I'm not totally convinced as I never eat much when ds is away so once he's back later it will probably re-appearMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Isn't it strange...nice guys have to grow on us, and it takes time, thats for sure. Glad it was "good enough" tho - that text was a nice gesture.
Shoes and a top for £20 isn't bad, you know! My sister gave me some stuff yesterday (she teaches at a v posh private school, has to have a bit of a turnover in clothes) so I did well out of my train fare to see her and a yummy Waitrose cake for afternoon tea!
Hope you have a good day today.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
