Well I feel bad my girls aren't having a holiday this year so may put it towards a few days away, not sure. Been abroad for 2 weeks every summer for the last 4 years, but they haven't moaned, they're very good. (All their dear dad's fault anyway lol!!)
I've also written to Lloyds claiming £680 from them so fingers crossed! After my success with Ace/Studio whatever their name is, I'm going to try Littlewoods too, I think my charges only about £200 with them (ONLY, she says!!)
As for the guinea pigs, how lovely!! Your son will love them!! We have a rabbit in a hutch/run in the garden, but my 2 tend to forget the poor thing. Maybe when we move and he's living right by the back door they'll see him more! I can hope anyway....
Right, must get off this siote and back to clearing out cupboards. I have sooo much stuff bagged to sell on ebay soon, fantastic!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
I am now the proud owner of 2 female guinea pigs
Being my usual impatient self I went to the shops to look at them again and ended up bringing 2 home
I'm hoping to collect their cage tomorrow but for tonight they have each got a huge cardboard box that I've converted into a cosy home
I haven't introduced them yet, I'm letting them settle in a bit first, it says they need 24 hrs of quiet in their new surroundings so it made sense to get them while ds isn't here
I'll try and get some pikkies on here tomorrow when they're not hiding away (hopefully), but one is a caramel colour and the other is chocolate colour and they've both got that fur that goes all over the place :rolleyes:I was going to get a long haired one, the ones that look like a walking carpet, but they need brushing every day, and I thought seeing as some days I can't be bothered to brush my own hair then I'm not going to commit to doing a guinea pigs, so short hair ones it is :rotfl:
Name ideas so far ... scruff, fudge, bumbles ... hmmm, need to think harder ... no doubt ds will have some suggestions to add, like Thomas and Percy :eek:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

In Tescos they had packs of 3 soft coloured foam balls, like tennis balls but soft, reduced to 25p  I got a couple of packs for down the beach and some to split for party bags
What a fab idea!!!! I didn't see any when I was in Tesco at home yesterday... check out my diary to see what I've spent today"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

They're both girls, had to be careful as they are as notorious as rabbits
Haven't heard a squeak out of either of them yet, think tey're both petrified still
I'm off out in half an hour down the harbour for fish and chips and to spot a nice sailor or two
, so they can have a nice quiet evening in
