Right, cage is collected and set up and they're both hiding away in their little bed thing  I'm hoping they come out to play soon as they have hidden away ever since I got them home :o

Fathers day pressie has been delivered, so thats another bit crossed off the list and I must get some tidying up done before ds comes home as my Mum is popping in later to see the two new arrivals and I will get a lecture if she sees the place looking like this  :D

    Debt-free and Proud!
Aw - love scruffy type guinea pigs - had one when I was a kid. Then later after I had left home my parents ended up with a feral colony in their garden! Apparently a family down the road had just let a pair loose when they moved  and they moved in under my parent's compost bin and started breeding! The babies are really cute - tiny tiny fully formed versions of their parents - and within a few months there were dozens running about the place. Mother used to chuck them some veggie scraps but otherwise they just left them to their own devices - and they did really well. Am sure the local cats kept the numbers down but there were around 10-15 in the colony most of the time. When my parents moved they passed the care of them onto the young son of the couple moving in - who was very enthusiastic about the prospect. Who knows - their descendents may still be there now.

Your DS will love them - what fun! (I like Scruff and Fudge too!)

Looks like they'll be living in the lounge :D They were going to be in my room but they would be in direct sunlight so thats no good for them, so they're in the lounge now and its great as we can see what they're up to all the time :D
