I'm back, I survived the journey on the motorway :j :j
I have had a nice day at my parents but this week my money is going to potI spent £16 on petrol (filled up) which was kind of expected in the budget. I also spent £17 (in tesco again!!) on the new memorystick and some sweets. Then we went out for coffee this afternoon and that cost £7.20  Oh and £1.52 to post an ebay parcel
On the plus side I have sold another item on ebay, this time for £20, so that takes my total this week up to £43 which will all go towards my Next bill :beer:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Glad the motorway driving was OK and you had a good day. Did you say recently that your parents are hoping to move nearer to you ?Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0

Morning everyone, I feel shattered this morning, ds woke up at 6:30
We are off swimming in an hour or so and then we're oging round to a friends this afternoon so he will be able to play with her two boys there and wear himself out
Later I really need to sort out exactly what money is where as tis starting to worry me as I feel less organised than normal. I love the school holidays but the money just disappears when I'm not at work
£12 came through today from a bingo site so thats been moved over to the mortgage pot and we're almost ready to cross another month off the mortgage :j :jMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Hi benben
I know what you mean about knowing where the money is. I've started doing a monthly audit - not even on the computer, but written down in a journal, & just being able to see it at the flick of a page gives me more confidence.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hi Benben,

Evening all
We've had a good day out and about again ... we went swimming this morning, although ds refused to do anything the teacher told him to do
then we went to the farm shop
and spent £7 on veg, meat and eggs
We came home and had lunch and ds played for a bit then we went down the beach and met a couple of friends. It was chilly down there but we were all wrapped up and ds played with their kids for a couple of hours in the sand
He's had fresh air and exercise every day which makes me feel less guilty about him not having a garden
I checked back a couple of pages in this diary earlier as I thought the money that arrived in my account from the bingo today included £10 I'd had to deposit to withdraw it, only it wasn't I actually won £22, so I have moved the extra £10 over to the mortgage pot too, which has just nudged it down ianother month :j :j :j So now my mortgage should be gone in April 2031  I have also figured out I have made almost £50 this week from ebayTomorrow we are going to have an "indoors" day other than swimming, and catch up on house stuff ... the place is a tip and I have loads of paperwork to sort out again  I could leave it for the weeknd when ds is at his fathers, but I would rather have another ebay blitz and enjoy the weekend before I go back to work rather than having a mad cleaning and tidying spree

Hi BBaM,
Sounds like you'll be going back to school for a rest...
I'm getting my backside into gear and sorting out these survey sites to start surveying. How do I refer you? Can I refer you?0 -
