Hi guys
Sorry I have been out of action, barely been on here. I think I posted yesterday lunchtime but it is all a blur... Anyway I thought yesterday would be spendy and if not today would.. but MiL *treated* me to bread :rotfl: so 2 more to add, and that takes me to 14 :j:j:j so close but I have to spend tomorrow. Got a shopping list as long as my arm! Most of it is to avoid spending out while friends are here, so will try and pare it down a bit, but if necessary transfer some budget over from the misc as that will not be used if I can feed them
I have read posts but too many to comment...
mothernerd woohoo for socks!!! I barely manage that my love, so you are doing fantastically!
Will be back tomorrow to update sig.xx

Have to know fmess (if you don't mind), where did you get your fitbit from?? I would love to get one but am hoping to get one for under £40. Don't mind if it is an older style.
:undecided
Hope everyone is doing really well. I have read all the posts but memory is a bit rubbish at the moment.

Morning all, just checking in to say I'm still alive and still here, even if I've been rubbish at updating - things have gone insane, have 5,000 words due in by the 9th march and haven't been online much. Hope everyone is well and ploughing through February - saw daffodils and croci yesterday, which cheered me up no endProud to be debt free September 2014. :j

Afternoon all,
Thought I would do my update whilst the laptop is out. Planning on today being a SFD although I am going to a concert tonight. However, I know where to get free car parking and will walk the remaining distance, I have some water bottled up (as long as they don't make us show the contents of our bags, I know sometimes they are funny about unsealed bottles) and we're having dinner at home before we go.
Unfortunately, my Fitbit isn't getting much use today as the weather has turned horrible so there'll be no dog walking. Done about 4000 steps around the house so I don't think that' too bad. Looking forward to seeing how many I log when I go to work tomorrow.
Might go an try and eat another frog in a minute; got a pile of paperwork that really needs filing as I have to keep sifting through the pile when I need to find something.
Hope you all have had a good day and that its drier where you are.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Bbbbrrrrrrrrrr......its cold today!
DS had his first proper rugby game this morning. Got home form watching him a few hours ago and am still trying to defrost my feet! I'm proud of the whole team for playing so well in such awful weather.
It's been a spend day as I need a few supplies but that should be it for the week (apart from planned spend when I am away for interview). Shopping has come in just under budget for the month, but that's not including the naughty take away. I will update my totals properly at the end of the week.
EDIT: I have just noticed I have a payment pending tomorrow to come off my credit card balance, meaning I will have paid over £1150 so far this year. This is around 1/5 of what I planned to pay off this year and I finally feel like I am making progress with it.0 -
I have been following this thread since the early days, well lurking actually. I'm amazed at how well everyone does and now feel I'm a point to try it next month. I have just come out of a DMP but have some debt owed to family that I want to pay off ASAP. I always felt out of control when in the DMP, I don't know why I just did. Also my car is on its last legs so I will need a newer one in the near future so some serious savingn will be needed when the debts are done.
I'm going to keep following and take a good look at the rules and make some plans of what I plan to do.
Hope to be joining next month.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

Hello parsniphead - welcome! And well done for completing a DMP :T. Have you been lurking since the ninjasavingkat days? If not, try seeking out her challenges, as they enabled her to pay off over £16k of debt AND then save about £10k, pack in her job and go off travelling for 5 years. (think I've got the figures right). She is seriously hardcore!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
