Plastic in Tesco Chicken Breasts!!

-
Today while eating dinner, I came across some unpleasant bits up plastic I thought was originally bones, but turned out the be thin strips of white plastic. Some I feel is stuck in my throat.
Absolutely disgusting, does anyone know the best way to go about complaining about this? Obviously some compensation, vouchers etc would be a start, but I am thinking maybe the health and safety standards to warn others?
How much are you looking for?
Anyway you can't do both. If you complain to tesco they'll ask for it to be sent to them before they offer you anything. If you want to involve a 3rd party they'll also want it sent to them as a sample. Therefore you need to decide what's more important, getting compo or protecting others?
I'd also be surprised if it wasn't cartiledge but I guess only time will tell.0
