Having the right rubber definitely keeps you out of trouble...0

I quite like being able to pull off in the snow.
Hang on, this is a family forum.JustinR1979 wrote: »Having the right rubber definitely keeps you out of trouble...
I said ... this is a family forum. If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0 -
Just wanted to come back with an update. Thanks for all the advice. I purchased a 2010 60plate Honda Civic Type S GT 2.2 CDTi with 36kmiles and 4 Honda stamps for £7800.
All fine so far. A big step up in comfort and performance. I get around 58 mpg using premium diesel. Will try the cheaper stuff on the next full tank to compare. Apparently it has no DPF, and the post facelift cars got a beefier clutch, so those are bonuses.0 -
Glad it's working out for you!
Happy motoring (says she in her Mondeo)0 -
Ah someone who perhaps thinks that they don't need winter tyres if they have FWD.
A RWD car with a set of winter tyres has only one problem - how to jump over all the cars without winter tyres who are scrabbling about and blocking the road
It's a capitalist plot to encourage folks to buy tyres they don't need.0 -

Do people still come out with this in 2015, I've got two FWDs and two RWDs currently in my ownership, they're all great in their own way. Trolling this crap belongs to the "Fast and the Furious" brigade.
I actually chuckled reading some of this.
O/P, any of the cars mentioned here are great, buying a car made in the last five years means you can't really buy a stinker. Get driving them and see what works for you and your budget.0 -
I think you need more practice with the quote function.
Not many F1 cars are fwd, maybe that's the way Ferrari can get back on top.0 -

I understand that the next capitalist plot will be to sell us all home air con. Because everyone in the American mid-West has it. (Geddit?).
I'm no fan of the former colony across the pond - but i do have full Climate Control in my house here in Scotland - and it's running right now.0 -
