Brilliant!
If that is true, I can see how the rest has panned out. They should have breath tested him and acted accordingly.

If it's a minor driver error accident and there are no injuries they wont bother to turn up.0 -

There were injuries and the police were allegedly informed the driver was !!!!ed.0 -

the police asked if there was anyone "seriously hurt".we said no because there was not.maybe if i had "yes",they might of come, there was no life treating injuries and i was,nt going to waste ambulance for the sake of it.
we told the police the driver was drunk, its not our fault they did.nt act on it.
why would i lie about this.

The police would routinely ask if anyone is injured. I doubt very much if you were asked "seriously injured" as "injured" is all they need to hear to attend.
However IF the events happened as you say, then the police have totally miss-handled the incident and as such you should make a formal complaint in person.PLEASE NOTEMy advice should be used as guidance only. You should always obtain face to face professional advice before taking any action.0 -
I have a feeling as this claim was settled at the time without a PI claim, the OP is pursuing one from these shysters who cold call claiming they have x amount put aside for you.0

Seems very odd to be pursuing a claim for personal injury long after the event."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

I would have thought the claim for injury would have been based on medical evidence and not physical damage to the car.0
