    It was kind of tongue in cheek. If the OP is worried about dropping her sister in it then offer sis the opportunity to fix it all herself first, and then drop her in it when she doesn't. I agree her sister's unlikely to do anything about it, but the idea was the OP will feel better for having given her the opportunity to do so first.
