Catalogue debt - shouldn't even be in my name?

Amanda, I'm curious why you're the one trying to sort this out. Tell your sister to get it sorted out - she created the mess, tell her to do whatever she has to do to get the debts out of your name and to get all references to it removed from your credit records.
I think the chance of getting someone who has no qualms about effectively stealing £1900 from her sister to do that is pretty remote.0 -

Dave,
It was kind of tongue in cheek. If the OP is worried about dropping her sister in it then offer sis the opportunity to fix it all herself first, and then drop her in it when she doesn't. I agree her sister's unlikely to do anything about it, but the idea was the OP will feel better for having given her the opportunity to do so first.Optimists see a glass half full
