I missed the death and police cars.
Can't have been that enthralling then as it was on, but I was on the computer at the same time.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
I watched Cucumber on catch up on Thursday and Banana and Tofu on catch up today. I'd say if you watch Cucumber you get Banana a little bit more but you don't need to, it was a storyline by itself. Tofu is stand alone, entirely separate IMO
I think there were abt two complaints abt Cucumber, I guess many ppl just chose not to watch it. Given that there was widespread coverage in the media and a rainbow in Trafalgar Square, I don't think too many ppl just stumbled across it.
Many of my Twitter followers in the US want all three of them over there but I can't honestly see any US network buying them.
There was full frontal nudity in Cucumber and I think there was simulated sex in Banana.
Cucumber was funny. Banana was a bit soap-operaish kind of just left school Grange Hill with a gay theme.
Tofu had gay and straight ppl interviewed abt sex. I really didn't want to know abt the granny having sex in the hospital, frankly nor the financier saying that hookers enjoyed sex with him, Eww.
Cucumber could be popular, based on the first episodes I don't think the others will be.0 -
i watched the second episode of cucumber and banana.
I was a little disapointed with this weeks cucumber, great to see a full drama on lesbians (banana) for a change, and a black female lesbian playing the lead charactor, which equaly was refreashing. the stalking was a bit much, but I guess that can happon. well done Channel 4Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -
Watched about 7 mins. of the first episode in passing and gave up on it, was pretty disgusted by the cliches and stereotypes. I don't think it represents modern day gay people at all it was just cringy and a little nauseating.0

Didn't bother watching it and got fed up with the constant adverts that were enough to tell me not to watch it.0

I watched some of it but turned over as I thought it was utter garbage!! Rather watch the adverts lolIf you change nothing, nothing will change!!0

Why does a gay drama have to be called cucumber? Why couldn't it have been given a normal name?
I'd not watch it simply because of the name.0 -

I didn't watch it because it looked terrible from the trailers. Whilst I think Russell T Davis' 'The Second Coming' (not what you'd expect from the title) was one of the best things ever shown on TV, this offering looks so dire I'm afraid I'll never dip my wick, so to speak.0

This is the praise, vent and warning board. The posts don't have to be about money saving......
Unless you are sayings ever post on this board should only reference money saving? If that's true then I don't know why they have all the sub boards....0
