I'm so different to my siblings (in looks, personality, attitude, everything!) that I am convinced that my parents were given the wrong baby to take home from the hospital . . .

I am very different to my sister. She has mental and physical health problems. I do not, even though I am 3 years older. We do not look alike; I was blonde, she was brunette, both now white/grey. She is lesbian, I am straight. Both of us passed the 11+ but she was transferred to a secondary modern after one year at grammar school. We have and had very little in common. I know she must have been there as we grew up but I have very few memories that include her.
  • Hmm well where do I start?

My sister is almost 11 years older than me and our relationship can be... strained at times. We are very similar but also very different! The age gap means a difference in clothing tastes and attitudes as she often mothers me. It doesn't help that our mother remarried when I was young, meaning I am much closer to my stepfather than my biological father (who I never see any more!) This has been a point of contention between my sister and I on more than one occasion but we are trying to work through it.

My brother and I are very similar in that we both have lousy tempers - we quite often argue because he cannot see me as an adult, only as his little sister (8 year gap there!)

Deep down, we all love each other to pieces though :)

I would say my sister is best with money (she has a very strict budget and very rarely treats herself) followed by me (I have a budget which is mostly stuck to!) and then my brother (absolutely rubbish with money!)

I am obviously the best though as I was the first to buy a house hahaha ;)
