Try this for the tax charges on pensions contributions.

In other words, unless you paid more than £40,000 into your private pension that is a "no"
SLSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £10,020.92 out of £6000 after September
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £2234.63/£3000 or 74.49% of my annual spend so far (not going to be much of a Christmas at this rate as no spare after 9 months!

Guess same for income tax losses. If I don't know what it means it generally doesn't apply to me. That's my rule of thumb.

I filled in my tax return today but haven't actually sent it yet. Afterwards, it, it told me the closing date was 15 February 2015. I'm confused - I thought 31 January was the closing date?
I was director of a company for part of the year (but didn't draw any salary or dividends) and was on JSA for the rest, so there was nothing to pay. Does that make a difference to the filing date?
Also, I declared the interest on my redundancy pay but I didn't see anywhere to declare JSA - did I miss something?0 -

Doh! The reason it's been extended is:
"The new date applies to taxpayers who between midnight on 21 January and midnight on 31 January this year, signed up for the self-assessment online service or requested a replacement user ID or password."0
