  • Good afternoon peeps! :hello:

    I'm hoping for an nsd today,after yesterday's extravagances. :o

It's not over yet,as I'm probably going to join a gym this week, which is not budgeted for.

I'll do an update this evening.

    Must use my stash up!
  • :hello:Hi all xxx

Am I well happy with myself :D
I'm not working tomorrow and I really want to break the chain of spending after a block of shifts; I managed it last Monday so really need to stick with it and not go popping off to the shops................I do have a couple of things to do in the morning but neither of them should involve shops!! I have got to go into the other hostel to print something off and pop into another place to pick up their duty phone for the weekend but will have to keep saying 'I don't need anything'
    I did it :j:j

Despite the place I have to pick the phone up from being in the middle of town and that the only (new) free parking spaces I can use are two streets (a couple of cafes and lots of shops) away I went past all of them and didn't spend anything :j The mantra worked ;)

Once home I put washing on and changed into my pyjamas to make myself stay put, have taken my teeth out and as I am now FAR too tired to be able to drive anywhere safetly and with no inclination to walk due to tiredness I am declaring number 10. :j

  • Well, since that's me back to our safari log cabin for the day I'm going to add to the sinking cauldron with NSD#6 for this month. I will have a spendy day tomorrow given I need to get my hair cut so I'm all pretty for the wedding on Saturday (not mine I should say...that ship has sailed-which is quite funny since Saturday's bride and groom are in the Navy) and I'll also be buying things for the journey (train, plane and indeed automobile!)

knitwitch, when that old Black Dog comes calling, could you perhaps visualise a young, lively dog (such as a Springer spaniel?) jumping around joyfully and chasing him away? Might just work?
