I'm rubbish this month, but I'm up to 4 NSD so far. Fingers crossed I can get another 8 by the end of the month!

I do indeed kerri. In all honesty I'm hoping you win as it'll mean you've got another distraction (and the continental hangover for the biggest game of the season on 1st March!) :D

:p see you on 1st March :rotfl: we're also going to the Accies game while we're up there, knitwitch can you knit me some extra thermals please ...green and white hopps If you can :D

Well yesterday was indeed nsd #8 as I spent 4 hrs gardening after hoofing my bum outside, resulted in two trips to the tip (I don't do light gardening) and planted some primroses out. Trying to get a lot cut back further than we normally would so there's less to keep on top of in the summer.

Today was spendy though, eyebrows separate (they thought I was Igors sister ), b'day present for my friend (though I would have allowed that on a NSD anyway) and a couple of makeup bits which were needed to replace bits that are past it. Chose the £5 brow mascara rather than the pretty one...for £17.50

  • Haven't been around much this month - partly due to work and partly due to Nargle's curry..............Phew!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl:

Still all fit and raring to go now and finish off the month with a flourish.

Managed to get 8 in a row by easting out of the freezer and cupboard this month and a total NSD of 13 so far (target beaten).

I'll increase the target this month to 20 please!

:hello:<<<Runs in and kicks Igor so I don't feel left out ;)

Wow everyone is doing so well :D:j

    I love the picture Marmite

Feel worn out by Kerri's description of energetic gardening:eek: I so need to get out into mine and get rid of all the brambles and ivy.................Mind you there is so much to do in the house too; find it all a bit overwhelming really and also never feel motivated when it's cold:(

But on the bright side I have made it through to number 9 :D.

I'm not working tomorrow and I really want to break the chain of spending after a block of shifts; I managed it last Monday so really need to stick with it and not go popping off to the shops................I do have a couple of things to do in the morning but neither of them should involve shops!! I have got to go into the other hostel to print something off and pop into another place to pick up their duty phone for the weekend but will have to keep saying 'I don't need anything'

    Keep it up all xxxx

See you tomorrow <<she says as she dons wellies to slippy slide towards the cauldron of doom through the mud

    :hello:

DFD Need to August 2027 :(

Best make the thermals red knitwitch. We only want winners here!! :p

Unfortunately I think I'm going to be in Bristol Airport when the Dons eradicate the 3 point difference so will have to make do with hugging my OH and any random strangers that look at me funny.

Sounds a bit like this forum actually! :rotfl:

not been posting much, but have been keeping track in my spreadsheet.

    month so far...

1st was NSD #1 (already declared)
    2nd was D/Debit day
3rd was a spend day (mostly car repairs)
4th was a spend day (some super discounted bits for Christmas)
    5th was (finally) NSD #2
6th was spendy (DS2's birthday pressie)
    7th was NSD #3
    8th was NSD #4
9th was spendy (call out charge to microwave repair people and a d/debit)
10th was spendy (paid for tumble dryer repair)
    11th was NSD #5
    12th was NSD #6
13th was spendy (part of OH's Valentine's day pressie)
14th was spendy (paid for washing machine repairs and running club membership)
    15th was NSD #7

and finally, yesterday (16th) was NSD #8

Going to have to work hard to hit my target of 15 - and even harder for my 4-in-a-row!! Going to try hard not to lose today and tomorrow which will get me the in-a-row, but my window cleaner's already 5 days late so might be round tomorrow to scupper those plans for me!! Lots of umplanned repairs bills have really played havoc with my results for this month :(

On the plus side, the one load I've used the dryer for since repair dried quicker than it has been doing - so I should start to see a small saving on the electricity bill.

And the chap said the bushes on the drum of the washer were about to give out - another month or two and I could well have been in the position of having to find £250 for a new machine rather than the £50 for the repair bill, so that's potentially saved me a lot of money in the short term :)
