That is so sweet. I bet it did taste nice. Hubby and I put a cap on a gift of no more than £10 for Valentine. ( we do the same for our wedding anniversary). We don't believe in putting each other any financial pressure. I made my hubby's Valentine card from an old Boofle calendar. I would have loved my hubby to have baked me scrummy chocolate heart cake.

Put a £1 in for a charity raffle yesterday - not going to count that as no other spend for the day. No spend no 11 out of 15 had a spendy day today - had my hair done and a pedicure.

We don't do cards to each other except b'day cards these days, generally we don't do anniversary gifts or valentines, although I sometimes pick up some little chocs or cakes for OH as a token for Valentine's.

    Have a happy Sunday. :)
  • kerri well done on the run.Do you ever have a day off?

Ze lovely front page is heavily weighed down with a great 264 nsds ,and with 43 of us actively taking part,it means that we have an average of 6 nsds each!!!

Meanwhile, chez 'Bjorn Again Safari Lodge',as we enjoy a late brunch,The Cauldron of Doom ominously starts listing to the side...it is rather full after all,and it's not on very firm ground next to sewage tanks. It's all muddy!

Oh dear,I hope that a major spillage doesn't spoil our tranquil Sunday!

Number 7 NSD from me, Igor, put it in The Cauldron of Doom, there's a good chap.
Whaddya mean, it's too muddy out there? Rain is not forecast till next week, then there will be galloons and galloons of the stuff.
Ah, the sewage outflow pipe. Us lot all jam-packed in a lodge that was only designed for ten people, plus the interesting catering options at mealtimes means the waste system is overloaded. In fact, it is on its last legs, which explains the stench.....And I thought it was Chef's curries......

Ok, get your wellies on and wade out there.

Whaddya mean you can't? Oh I see, there's a family of meerkats using your wellies as a litter tray......Ah, aren't they cute?

In that case, Igor, there is only one thing to be done. Get the communal mankini and use it as a sling to launch my NSD into the Cauldron of Doom. Then charge all the rest of the NSD gang a fiver a time to borrow it.

So what if he is still wearing it, Igor, just find a way round that little problem. (Here I am, brain the size of a planet, and you're bothering me with trivialities.....)
