Well not been on for a couple of days (physio takes it out of me and I just collapse!)

I hope the physio is helping.

No NSD yesterday due to some amazing offers on audible yesterday, and no NSD today due to my placing grocery orders. Hopefully i can soon get back on track.

    I'm sure you will! :)

scotmumof3,sorry to hear that your OH needs surgery.I hope that it all goes ok.

I'm declaring #9 already for today.I plan to buy mushrooms and bananas, but that's part of my grocery budget, and therefore allowed.
  • Swedish Chef and Igor (joint directors of The Chicky Ferret Catering Company, slogan "CFC - as in fridges but twice as deadly") have arranged an all night barbecue cook-out for us, and there will be music and dancing around a big bonfire. When is it, Igor?

Oh, tomorrow night. And what food will.there be?
Ah, barbecued meat du jour, whatever comes in the way of Cheffy and his meat cleaver. Plus Chicky Boom Boom, a hot and spicy chicken dish. And who is doing the music? Ah, some random group or other who dress up in grass skirts and tribal woven cloths, play drums and sing African-inspired songs for us all to dance to. Sounds ok, Igor. Oh, they also do a drag queen cabaret spot in the interval?

Hang on a minute, this sounds only too familiar.....Now where have I seen a group like that before? Igor? Igor?

Now where has Igor disappeared to?

He disappeared to change into a tasteful orange and lime mankini, which barely covered..well,anything basically....and proceeded to prance around on the dance floor with The Terrible Twins (Agent Mankini and Swedish Chef). The low point of the whole evening was when the three of them decided to do some limbo dancing.:eek:
Some things that are seen should never be seen, but that's wishful thinking :eek::eek: and,as a result,a few of the ladies are in a catatonic state :(
I certainly have a few more white hairs than what I had last night.

Swedish Chef, who is now rather sheepishly pootling around the kitchen (and in his pristine chef's whites again,I'm glad to say) is literally throwing together his version of The 'Heartstarter' cocktail to see if this will help....

Back later with an update. :)

ps the front page is up to date.

It can be tough at the beginning when you're building up your various pots.

Yesterday was an unexpected nsd,and I think today will be one too.

kerri boot camp at 6 am -where do you get the energy/motivation?!
I hope that work calms down soon.

I'll get back to you on that motivation thing, I think it's becasue I've signed up to it, paid for it and someone is expecting me to be there so I'd be letting them down if I didn't turn up. However then working 8.30 - 10.30 (that's am to pm :p) is a little bit tiring. Full swing in a big project, well several atm as well as usual work tasks.

However, I was practising hard at pole last night ready for our next shin dig, currently working on a move called iron-x , I may be able to do it by the next millennium :rotfl:

Fingers crossed for OH scotmum xx

Well yesterday and today are nsd 5 & 6 getting there slowly. Could Prob manage at least another over the weekend as no spends going out planned, but we shall see on that. Following weekend is going to be spendy, esp from the thurs as a group of us have tickets for the Inter game (you must know the one I mean agent mankini :D)

Chucking it down with rain (as opposed to cats and dogs) out atm, hope it clears up as I want to get out in the garden this weekend.
