Hubert is seen, barely visible through the dust cloud, thundering away in the distance, sparks flying from his high heeled hoofs, closely followed by a trumpeteing heffalumpish fury and a lithe, sinewy and a fast jaguar......Oops,I think he might need a few extra nappies....:(
Meanwhile events take an even stranger twist as Swedish Chef sashays through from the kitchen with some hot chocolate on a tray for us sleepyheads, wearing a figure hugging mankini with a chicky-chicky motif!!:eek:
Noooo, anything but this......Igor,have you put him up to this?[/QUOTE]
And thenmarmite woke up and lo, it was but a dream.....

Sorry to those I have reminded about our waste of money over the years!! Onwards and upwards!
Today was a spendy day but out of necessity so decided to stop off and grab a bag of shopping as well on the way home from work. I spent £12.95 on fruit, veg, milk and fish so not bad.
In other news (and thanks for the good luck wishes), I decided not to wait until I smoked my current batch of ciggies (5 packs left) and started today. After thinking about it last night I felt I was making excuses so struck whilst the iron was hot and while I am feeling determined.
If I still haven't had one by Friday morning and still feel the same as today I am going to give a pack to each of the homeless guys I see on the way to work. I know it's encouraging them but they will do it anyway and I can't face throwing them away.
Tomorrow will be a NSD as I have made lunch but will check in tomorrow to confirm.
Am off to have an early night as have had a busy day so will read back on all I have missed tomorrow. These pages move so quickly.NSD Challenge 2015: Jan 20 / 20 (2 x 5 in-a-row) / Feb 5 / 12 (4 in-a-row)

Candlewick you don't 'need' to smoke the last five packs, you're right.
I stopped smoking in July 2000,and I still feel very proud of this. It's one of the best decisions I've ever made.
If I can do it,you can do it.Just remember to take one day at a time.
Changing your routine can help a lot too.I couldn't have stopped without Allen Carr's book BTW.0 -

Thanks for the support & encouragement Marmite and yes you are right about changing routine so I am staying off the phone, wine (only at the weekend, don't want anyone to get the wrong idea on that one!) and will no doubt be having my dinner at odd times during the evening.
Thank you also for my lovely prize- Can't wait to start collecting the others!
