:hello: Hi there all xxNargleblast wrote: »Ready for your bedtime story, Hubert?
Ok, once upon a time there was a little donkey who was friends with all the other animals. One day he found a lost baby elephant crying for its mummy. The donkey took the elephant home with him, gave him a mug of Horlicks and a cheese and pickled onion sandwich, and let him try on some sparkly stiletto shoes. Then the mummy elephant turned up and smashed the donkey' s brains to bits.
NOW GET THAT FREAKIN' ANIMAL OUTTA HERE!!!
Aww poor Hubert :rotfl:He will be having nightmares :rotfl:
Welcome to Aaleigha xx good to meet you x
Well done on getting on the property ladder Candlewick and good luck with the stopping smoking x
Knitwitch ....nine in a row :j:j Wow!!!!! Really hope you get some help with the pain
I am very glad that Scotsmum has managed to get back from her excursion to the Cauldron of Doom.......I was getting quite worried
Hope you feel better soon Zenshu xx
Well............I had to get the electric on Sunday and very naughtily bought a packet of biscuits as wellBut many thanks Kerri............the gazelle came through
and I didn't but chocolate on Monday, in fact I didn't buy anything on Monday so made number 4 :j- I must admit I didn't manage the exo lax though, but I did manage to hide it from Igor so it won't be turning up in any cocktails again soon
.
I'm going to declare today as number 5 as well as I have no plans to go anywhere and need to do some bits at home; not risking the muddy walk so I am going to ask the baby elephant to drop my two NSDs in the cauldron as he walks past on his return to his mother.....who Hubert appears to have become friendly with and is I believe measuring up for a pair of extra large sparkly shoes as we speak:eek: I somehow feel this safari may not do much for conservation in the area :rotfl:
Right, off for now, will pop in tomorrow but I know it will be spendy as getting my hair done but am going to plan to get anything else I need then as well too. Unfortunately this may mean another trip to the garage as BOTH windscreen wipers are playing up now. They won't go back to 'rest' and are sticking half way across the windscreen; they are working fine if they go on but not when they stop so to avoid both using 3 litres a day of screen wash so I can keep them on or praying for rain all day (neither of which I want to be doing) I had better get them looked at
Marmite; thanks for all the updating and the pictures. They always bring a smile to my day

So could I. When I left my last job I had hundreds of books and resources in front of me in my spare room, that I had bought and all of a sudden all I could was the £ notes that I had spent - I kept picking up 5 - 10 books and saying - that is another £100. I felt sick about the amount of money I had spent and how much of a house it could have paid or how much more I could have had in my bank.
Actually every time I have an urge to spend I should think about that image.
Another NSD for me. No 8 out of 152025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

9/20 NSDs today, had to have my big doggy X-rayed so thats £190 gone, but it was budgeted and out of the joint bill account so not counted as a spend! She is alright but Vet had missed a crucial (?) ligament problem last year when it started so it has healed badly, now in talks about what to do next!
Happy almost wednesday!!

The diazapan/valium were what turned me into a space cadet (with a horrendous all over rash and went blind!!)
Blimey, you're having a rough time! (((Knit Witch)))
Have you been given other medication and is it helping?Nargleblast wrote: »Ready for your bedtime story, Hubert?

Hubert is seen, barely visible through the dust cloud, thundering away in the distance, sparks flying from his high heeled hoofs, closely followed by a trumpeteing heffalumpish fury and a lithe, sinewy and a fast jaguar......Oops,I think he might need a few extra nappies....:(
Meanwhile events take an even stranger twist as Swedish Chef sashays through from the kitchen with some hot chocolate on a tray for us sleepyheads, wearing a figure hugging mankini with a chicky-chicky motif!!:eek:
Noooo, anything but this......Igor,have you put him up to this? :mad:0
