Sounds like first come first served and totally reliant on housekeeping being on top form.

It's more reliant on previous night occupancy than housekeeping to be honest, but it they know you are coming early, you will be prioritised for any available rooms in your booked category.

I could get 2 weeks in a comfortable Bangkok hotel for what you're forking out per night.
Bangkok's all about the destination, not outrageously priced hotels.

Personal choice Pompey, I don't mind splashing my hard earned cash. No justification necessary on my part. You might not mind where you stay, I certainly do, for ME it IS value for money, i.e. personal choice. Thank you for your comment though.

Finally got to the hotel at 10am after being stuck in traffic and they had our room ready YAAAAAY! The concierge commented that I'd requested an early check in, EXCELLENT Customer Service thus far, really can't fault anything about this hotel! PERFECT choice for my family.
