You will. It was trick question. I had to relearn when oldest failed all prelims. 6 months kitchen table. I got books . Looked things up and practiced.

Amazed at the young ones in my accounts class who can't do percentages though x

I didn't read it all mind :rotfl:

I would have thought valassis might have something to say though.

  • Its a cushion but a tablecloth would be cool. It was off ebay. Kids toy room is pirate/sugar skull themed (OH and his designer ideas :))
My sofa cushion would fit in to that theme:)

    End of the womble?

According to the tech companies, this contract, which involves the digital counting and reconciliation of own brand and supplier brand coupons at the PoS across the Asda UK estate, will improve fraud prevention and operational efficiency. Their statement promised that the collaboration will also enable the real-time issuance and redemption of coupons and vouchers for Asda-specific campaigns.

Well good on him - putting people right:D. No, I don't mean that!:o:rotfl: To me, if someone told me I'd got something wrong, as long as they were right, I'd say 'thank you very much for telling me', and that would be a genuine thank you, and then I'd change my approach or view so that it was right. I have no problem being corrected - as long as the correction is right (if it's not, I'll argue it's not to a tee). As long as it is rational and soundly based.....

I don't know if people generally realise what a burden self-regulation puts on us. It can be such a huge, continual and exhausting effort and I tend to think about things - everything - in far more depth that anyone else, who just seem to do these things naturally and without having to think about them. Almost everything with me is an active thought and an attempt not to e.g. sometimes I don't feel myself moving in space and continue walking beyond what I intended, and end up in someone else's personal space:o (oops) - it can happen. I think that's also part of why I bump into things quite a lot and how moving through the house is sometimes like an obstacle course, and contributes to/is part of the clumsiness that is a feature of the syndrome....

A lot of what you are saying resonates with things I see with ds2. I am at the start of a long learning curve with Aspergers, I am still learning to read things he does and how best to advise and guide him. His diagnosis means that school is now realising that he is not simply a clumsy little know all (this was how it seemed he was being treated for his first three years at school) but I worry that his personality is at risk of being drilled out of him. He is so natural and unconcerned...I would love him to retain that.

All I can do is trust my instincts and be guided by the professionals who have more experience of the condition. Your insight is very helpful, I have so many worries for his future but he is such a bright little boy I actually think that some aspects of his condition could benefit him as he goes through life...I am certainly no authority on the subject though :o
  • Yes savvy I was a bit surprised.i did write the full word and spelt it correctly.didnt realise it was a censored word.........its not bleeped on the bbc!!!just shows you, its not just samsung smart tvs that listen in:p sometimes its not reasurring to have a big brother watching u:D
    So must go..take care all

All the way from Mexico.:) They are solid sugar, as well. And the hand-done decoration is amazing.

But I always thought if you divide by zero then you have the imaginary +/- infinity
To give the book's author his due, he does make that point elsewhere:
"You can do whatever you like* to equations, so long as you treat both sides of the equation exactly the same. (*The only thing you can't do is divide both sides by zero, because it will make the Universe collapse.":D)
