My dear friend's OH has been told he doesn't have a job from tomorrow. He was the main earner in the house. She has a zero hours job which won't be enough to support them or pay the rent. They have no savings and no food in the house and they have a little girl. They're like family to me and I don't know what to do.

Gonna get more info but how can they give him so little notice?

Evening. Just done another M's biccies shop. Still working. Got 10 jam n cream and 6 golden crunch at 7.55pm. 7840 Match pointss and 8000 more points.

Also hit jackpot with the meat...lots of huge packs of pork chops for 99p plus lamb chops £4 rtc to 99p but somehow took @1.99 off my shopping for each pack i bought :T

Beef joints reduced to £2.50 a go..

Hi Em, the advice I would give is to go to entitled to http://www.entitledto.co.uk/ it will give her an idea of what help they will get. My dh had is hours cut from 42 to 25 and I don't work, I panicked but doing the calculator eased my worries a little. We have 2 kids at home so we struggle...but manage, with the help of the elite of course :A
