rhosynbach, so pleased your daughter is moving near you -- it will be better for her child to have a garden too. I am really happy for you.
dipdap, money saving has its place but when something really matters, like a home, it is more important to get the right house in which you feel comfortable and safe. You want somewhere you will love and if you have already decided on the right one, forget about the what-ifs. Just go and order some Udis instead!0 -

On cnc, I find it can be tricky. Often staff are sat around waiting for customers in a van or behind the scenes so often they can scrutinise your order etc, and maybe even pass comment on how you've not spent much.
HD is a better way imo, I rarely bother with CnC nowadays (locally). Delivery drivers around here are often way too busy to care about your small order and vouchers used as payment, and don't pass comment.
This is only my experience.
It's my experience too. The CC people are getting much too interested in the Udis for my liking while the delivery man was just very nice and even waited for me to post my letter (he would come just as I nipped out!) before giving me my shopping.
I've another £20 voucher today! I wish they wouldn't make them so large. (Mind you, they think I am spending £25 each time I place an order :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)
Goodnight, all.0 -

That's certainly also been my experience with HD (I have no choice as miles away from a store). The drivers have lots of deliveries so don't want to hang about, and as the order is all already paid for they rarely even bother looking at the money.0 -
Of course I meant rtc not etc. Damn you autocorrect! It's been a long day.
Goodnight all.
Goodnight.
I wonder whether you meant "Jam & Cream". They're not called "Jam & Cream" - according to the packs, they are called "Jam 'n Cream". However has anyone noticed that msm's description has it as "Jam n' Cream":eek::rotfl:?
Returned from A earlier and... so much to do tonight:(, wombles have returned and lots to go through from them.0 -

Tried the item below at SS and it asked me to weigh the bag. I was then charged the price of the bag per kg. So, my bag was priced up at £1.25 and when weighed scanned at £1.25 per kg.
So, if you go to A now and find an item that works, buy the cheap bags for £1 or less as it looks like that is the price you will be charged per kg..:D
And there I was, dealing with the wipes and the trivial matter of loose onions not comparing on T PP vs M. I missed the post about the salad originally:(. But, for me now I'm already back here at home, this won't be saving money. If I go to A now for them, I have to add a nominal 50p for cost of the round-journey in petrol, making them 84p:(. I'd also have to deal with very quiet SS tills at this time of night, with the trouts watching me from the side:eek:. I would be better just getting a Savers Salad in Morries tomorrow. I think I'll stick with my M round lettuce:rotfl:. I see the beggars even charged you for the cost of 275g as well, instead of 250g.:D
Also I've seen salad bags on whoopsies at 10p each before now. Although they have less date on them, they are nonetheless the same bags, so 34p seems a bit steep for them:rotfl:.
If the price per kg. thing is still working when I am next in A, as part of my normal journey where I happen to be already in A anyway, then I might get some.0 -

Yeah, thats the thing, it all depends. When I do a CnC at my 3 most local stores , it tends to be women who I meet. They tend to be rather more tricky than the men who do HD local to me.0 -
I find it the other way around too, but probably because I collect at an ex-Netto or an A Living and they have no clue about C&C and don't really understand it, plus have no idea how to do refunds either :rotfl:
Josie I think it was you who said you get your APG pre pick up??? I think??? how odd. I guess they must somehow mark them as collected pre collection, or summat like that?0 -

I tend to shy away from getting the 10p sweets now and go for the things I need at the same time when I do a apg selective shop and when I spend my APG online I will spend a little to so I have a couple of £50's now so Ill buy £75 worth of food.0
