Thanks for the earlier posts about bags of salad in A guys, a certain chubby Scotsman could do with a glitch like this..:D

Tried the item below at SS and it asked me to weigh the bag. I was then charged the price of the bag per kg. So, my bag was priced up at £1.25 and when weighed scanned at £1.25 per kg.

So, if you go to A now and find an item that works, buy the cheap bags for £1 or less as it looks like that is the price you will be charged per kg..:D

Has anyone ever had a problem with a big C&C apg? I have one for £50 (did the Glade candles and a jf oil in the same shop) and I'm too scared to use it.

The last C&C I did, a comment was made about how low my total was. :o

On cnc, I find it can be tricky. Often staff are sat around waiting for customers in a van or behind the scenes so often they can scrutinise your order etc, and maybe even pass comment on how you've not spent much.

HD is a better way imo, I rarely bother with CnC nowadays (locally). Delivery drivers around here are often way too busy to care about your small order and vouchers used as payment, and don't pass comment.

    This is only my experience.

In my area I find it the other way around.

thanks to sweetdreamer for making me aware of this as you all know its something very close to us, and also to miss corerupted just found a collector on anglesey that we pass once a month so will contact her :T
Ditto, just found one near me.
  • Big thanks to all you lovelies who have already sent me biscuit wrappers, you are fabulous!

Can I please repost the original post just in case some of you missed it. I know there's a lot of biccies wrappers floating round out there at the moment and I could sure make good use of them

I'm just asking a BIG BiG PLEASE. I am a regional collector for a charity that strives to reduce the amount of stillborn births and early deaths in babies in the UK. One of the ways we do this is by recycling biscuit wrappers to raise money which is used to print information leaflets given to pregnant mums.

If any of you lovely biscuit munchers could help by sending me your unwanted wrappers, you would be helping a fantastic cause. Please pm me if you'd like my address and I have posted a link to the charity site to better explain what we are about.

Thanks for this,I have found a collector near me so will start saving:T

I find it the other way around too, but probably because I collect at an ex-Netto or an A Living and they have no clue about C&C and don't really understand it, plus have no idea how to do refunds either :rotfl:
