    One word....SOUP
So so easy to make, even FC could make it.
You only need a pan, so no special equipment purchases.
    Cheap, nutritional, warming and filling.
Its the way forward I tell yee!!
Can you tell I have just finished making my pan of soup. Will last me the week, broccoli and Shropshire Blue, mmmmm!!

Morning luvlies, woke up to a touch of snow here this morning, hopefully no more on the way.

Just wanted to say, totally agree with you DM on the soup front. Your broccoli and cheese sounds lush.

We had family round for a bubbs beef and Turkey roast dinner on Sunday, shoved the meat in the slow cooker early morning. DH went overboard on the veg as per usual. He did 2 big dishes of med veg (topped off with a jar of the peppers from M) plus all the usual veg including a huge whoopsied Cauli and broccoli etc.

Decided to make the left overs into soup. Couldn't use the stock from the meat for the gravy on Sunday as DD2 is veggie so saved it in the fridge. Blitzed all the left over veg and meat with the stock and even threw in the rest of the stuffing and made 2 big saucepans of soup. It made enough for 4 days and makes a lovely filling lunch :)

Exciting day for me. Going to the shops to look at wedding dresses with DD. She is planning to get married in August. Register office booked, marquee booked and caterer ( my sister).

    Tenth Anniversary
I'm 6 years older, and we were taught to cook properly. But as mum was a gypsy, I was also taught to cook at home.... as it was supposed to be my role in life! I do like to be a rebel!

    :D:D:D:D:D

Good morning, my kids had cookery lessons in school, they were pointless so I taught them the basics they are now both good cooks and can cook from scratch which is more economical , snap ant I am pleased that you made up with fourp and as sad as it is , his time with his mum is going to be quite short so letting him go is for the best:A
