Good morning everybody, I hope you are well and have fabulous Tuesday.

    Happy shopping.

    PD the cake is amazing.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.
  • Good morning :)

Glad to not be going in work today :j The water has been going off randomly here for over 24 hours now and I always shower when I get home from work because it's not a hygienic environment and also because I feel showering will get rid of any cold germs I may have picked up from work. So if I was in work I'd be worrying all day about not being able to shower, so staying home means one less worry for me :D I'll call up the water board later and complain. Clean water is a basic human right and we've not even been informed about any interruption to this service

Got my job interview later at 6pm :j Please think positive thoughts for me :D TIA

A Government Warning has said that anyone travelling in icy conditions should take:

    Shovel, Blankets or sleeping bag

Extra clothing including scarf, hat and gloves

24 hours supply of food and drink

    De-Icer

    5Kgs of Rock Salt

Torch or lantern with spare batteries

    Road Flares and Reflective Triangles

    Tow rope

    5 gallon petrol can

    First Aid Kit

    Jump Leads

I looked like a complete prat on the bus this morning!

  • Last night I finally got around to going through my stash in the loft. This was prompted by missing Radox hand wash :D I knew I couldn't possibly have used them all already and my search turned up 8 of them that were hiding amongst other items :D Found lots of things I'd forgotten I even had and I cannot believe how many reeds I have  I think I may have gone a little overboard on that glitch :o I'm happy that my list of items I won't need to buy for a long time is a vast improvement on last year

    Reeds - Lifetime supply
    Shower gel - 10 years
    Deodorant - 5 years
    Moisturiser - 5 years
    Pasta - 2 years
    Shampoo - 2 years
    Body lotion - 2 years
    Dishwasher tabs - 1.5 years
    Hand wash - 1 year

I've taken most of it out of the loft now and organised in boxes so that the older stuff gets used first. I definitely prefer the Dove shower gel to Sanex so I'll use that first. It feels better now I know where everything is and how much I have as before it was totally disorganised :o

    'Allo.

I sometimes think I'm addicted to this place when being away for a day feels like ages :rotfl:

I definitely will stick around but it's always good to take a step back sometimes! I've been reading back a little from this morning......bunch of softies

But all joking aside, that was touching to read and reminded me why I do spend so much time on here :grouphug:

I'm sorry if I misread comments. I was just struggling to see who it was aimed at, if not myself. But I don't like bad feeling anywhere, let alone somewhere I love like this place, so happy to forget about it tbh.

Is everyone ok? Saw 10 ways post about 42p candles and thought of you all x

I for one am pleased you have not evaporated into the ethos, please let us know if the charity we all voted for came in the top 5 and they were able to get a little funding for their cause.
