    Finished again.
The 'More' points offers I had didn't lead to anything. Main problem was competitors all on high prices. Shopping at the moment for those items is very dear.

I did find Kleenex Ultra Soft Tissues (twinpack, 80x2) £3.99 in M and £2.00 in S with 750 "More". However, even then it would 'work out' (and of course it wouldn't as wouldn't necessarily hit a £5 trigger point) at £1.25 for 160 tissues. However, SP Tissues (225) are 65p (and probably 10% off vs T or M), so Kleenex are v.expensive tissues! Fwiw, Savers Cornflakes (500g) should be M vs S, for one penny in points each:(:rotfl:.

    Maybe early night for everyone.

With M not playing ball on the Unwashed Potatoes (huge 12.5Kg bags still at full price £4:eek:), watch out on wombles to see if A's Red Desiree Potatoes (2.5Kg), merely called "Red" on the bag last time I saw, compare vs M Red Potatoes 1.5Kg. If they did, would probably sadly be at the rate of 69p for 1.5Kg.

 Assuming there's no unexpected glitch of vs straight 69p on them, the 12.5Kg bag at £4:eek: would still work out cheaper. I don't expect the A Red Potatoes to work - they are called Red Desiree on msm rather than Red and they're outside the weight range but not unknown for previous 2.5Kg bags of other potatoes to compare vs M 1.5kg. When they have, they've compared with weight adjustment though (in effect, when that works, 10% off M's price per unit). I don't like getting the 12.5Kg bag at £4 but only at half price, yet it's still cheaper than £1 for 2.5kg.

Maris Piper Potatoes (2.5Kg) have a "More" points offer in M but expensive prices everywhere (but need to check Lidl).

Regular occurrence........Question asked when the answer is already on the same page, sometimes just 2-3 posts away

Regular occurrence........Question asked, author waits 30+ mins for response.........could have found answer themselves in seconds using search facility here....or just by googling (even quicker)

Q....Why does the thread move so fast making things harder to find ?

A.... See the two points above ;)

In fairness, the answer sometimes appears a couple of times on the same page too because of the rather helpful Elite answering, but some people take longer to type/reply than others. Likewise, some people are typing a question and the answer has appeared while they were typing.

And the search function on this site isn't the most helpful - Google it is not .

Best not to let it bother us and help where we can. We all need help on here now and again :A.

Oh you know my searches for stuff... I have been known to spend up to an hour:eek: searching for a post, only to be unable to find it. And that's when I know about the post that I am searching for. I've never seen answers to questions I'm left with on the same page as my post would be on. I try to keep up. My first thing on getting back from M (when I get to this thread) is to check if there have been any glitches reported for A since the beginning of the day - usually spend time catching up now before I come in and post that "I'm back from M!". I know I post questions sometimes and then find I've no time to wait for the answer and just rush out anyway. Then again I usually know everything(:rotfl:) so that I don't need to ask:rotfl::rotfl:. You may think "Not everyone has that luxury".:)

On that, probably causing consternation that isn't intended so, if I annoyed anyone in this post, I didn't mean what you thought I did! So on that, must go, goodnight!!:):wave:

How are we all? 2nd NSD for me :D

TS your steam room post did make me giggle :rotfl: you are indeed precious :D

Am looking forward to elite meet on Thursday :D:j

FC never apologise for your opinion nor putting it across. We are a mixed bunch on here and life would be very boring if everyone agreed on everything  live and let live I say :)

Great news from never too old :T Many years back I had some fool pull out of a space alongside me (Didn't look) and dented the side of my car (Only a micra so pretty much a tin can on wheels :rotfl:). They took off at speed and even though the driver behind gave me his details as a witness and noted down the registration, the DVLA said the car didn't exist :(

Sending love and hugs to snap & 4p xx

Good luck with your interview Evangeline :T

Wow this has turned into a savvy-sized post! :D

The Thursday meet up at Lewisham is an MSE meet, not exclusively for any board.
It is however likeminded people all trying to save money, get bargains and love this site :)
I have been going along for about 4 yrs, and have met so many people that have enhanced my life, just from finding MSE in 2003 then joining in 2004.
It will be lovely if anyone from ELITE comes you'll be very welcomed, how could you not be?
