I doubt that anyone is interested, but can I just point out that I am NOT the Ladyshopper on hotukdeals that has been banned.

Never had a username on there ever, but curious someone decided to use that name and is now banned (on the infamous biscuit thread).

That might be because the profile was only registered 2hr30min ago!

I noticed that Munqui, when I clicked on it and looked.

Not me, up to people whether they believe it or not, but there you go. Someone who knows what I do (and most people do, I don't hide it) out to cause a little mischief I suspect.

I'm the only person in the world not to get the biscuits:o

    :o:o none here either - & I do have a Ms 15 minutes away :o

But I gave my friend, who is a Ms shopper, the list so she could buy them for her family :)

I agree that it would be positive if these resources were easily accessible for all, I would love to learn how to cook/grow veg etc.

But I do wonder if the evaluation of these projects will indicate that very specific people benefit from them. In relation to children's centres, the evaluations showed that the people who most benefited, was the people who least needed to benefit.

Although from 1940's - Maslow's hierarchy of needs is still relevant. It is a shame that social policy does not acknowledge this basic fact.

Sorry I will get off my high horse now x

That's the point....to make these things more accessible to more people. Im not directly involved with that side of things. I have mostly been involved with sourcing funding to make it happen but I can do that better if I see 'the bigger picture'

The lovely savvy sal summed it up perfectly earlier when she said we have lost the skills and experience needed to 'survive'. They are there....we are all testament to that.
I can honestly say that I haven't encountered anyone benefitting from the project that I'm working on that didn't need it. That might not necessarily be financially. It might be through illness, mental or emotional problems.....to name a few. All of which have a knock on effect on the rest of life.

To be totally old fashioned :o this country got through 2 wars without anyone starving. Yes times have moved on and hardship isn't as well tolerated as it once was but I do believe that 'poverty' has a very different meaning to what it once had.

A couple of years back a user on there with a very similar user name to mine had a spat with Henlans. It wasn't me, I've never been a member on there. Someone who doesn't want to argue under their own name I suppose?

The men's Nivea is showing as * for Sainsburys on MyS. Must have happened today or yesterday because I've been checking daily. HOWEVER, MSL not showing as *. Hoping its just my local Sainsbobs. Anyone else care to check? TIA

    Not working with me.
:rotfl:And I've no idea how you get the "ï" without copying it from your OP just now.

...I'm doing a partial amendment of Mvs A as well, and moving it to page 1. Fwiw. You'll need to check the items that aren't newly added to see whether A's prices have changed. And, of course, they may change on any day (even on the 'new items' after tonight) and M M&M should update daily. You'll be able to tell what's newly added - it'll be in bold.

One thing I have got is some 'More points' items to go through. Seem to have more of those, than new for A/Tvs M. And I'll be checking those against any competitor (except Lidl) as I'm going through. But...they'll probably all lead to nought:rotfl:.

Maybe. Its just interesting that my username was picked, I suspect deliberately knowing what I do for a job, as that of course is exactly what has been picked up and thrown back by Henlans.

Nothing I can do I suppose, just find it a bit odd.
