    You keeping busy too.

I'm on track. Gotta finish one today and put crib sheet together for economics exam on Wednesday.

Gotta decide next month if doing next year which seems incredibly daunting at this point but I guess no sense in leaving it to last minute as places be gone.

I keep telling myself not sure would manage but I guess its just building on this year.

    We'll see :)

An interesting read, just reminds me of childhood  and that seemed to be the norm then or it was where we lived and that was with all the men working as they were railway houses.

In those days people did not expect as much and I am in no way having a pop at you or the author. Plus I am sure if you go back another generation they lived with even less

Or if you take 3dogs dog as an example there would be many people from other countries would see that as living in luxury roof over your head/food/gas/electric/free healthcare the list goes on ;)
and don't take it the wrong way

Might make a few think how well we actually have it ;) when moaning about a late apg result etc or lost 25p on that item :rotfl: but probably not :(
Reminds me of my childhood too and both my parents worked.

And my first flat when oldest was wee. Everything was so expensive. Been fortunate with work since then and clever at spends.

I think its lack of education in budgeting whether from folks or school or just looking it up.

I learned very quickly that making own soup and bread much cheaper than tinned and own curries cheaper than take out. Actually worked one night in Chinese takeout so free curry for the Mondays tea ! I had three jobs at one point

And the rest is gravy babe. I'm ready for anything. I had great MSE teachers :T

You are young enough to have a career that will enhance your life GO FOR IT We know you can do it :T:T:T

I fell into that role 16 yrs ago and my old boss allowed me to gain various qualifications along the road Done an SVQ level 4 Not rocket science to do but I felt really good about achieving it Managed to get it funded as it would have cost £3k which I could not have afforded I know it benefited the business too so it was win win

just logged in to see the thread had taken itself over to the main board again. But have moved you back to the right place :)

Thank you. It is probably best to keep us away from the main money saving community as our Elite ways are not always understood as Quick! But we are working on the Grabbit While You Can aspect :).
