Fortitude was a bit all over the shop. Felt like maybe it wanted to be a Scandi Twin Peaks but the writing wasn't good enough to get that across.....so it just seemed like someone had smooshed it together with a crime thriller. I'll give it a little more time to improve

I really ought to go to bed now.
Just gonna leave this interesting article here. It's an account of one family's experience of modern day poverty. A real eye opener and I see echoes of it in my close friend's life

There was a weird thing on the telly the other day about a town in Alaska where everybody all lives in the same building. (It's got the shop, post office, government departments all built into it).
The school's across the road but nobody goes outdoors as there's a pedestrian subway that takes the kids there. There's a tunnel in the mountains that lest everybody drive through to the main cities where they can buy things/do stuff but it closes at night and they have to dash back to get home. If they're too late they have to sleep in their cars (which happens all the time!).
Very surreal.
Anyhoo

Every so often we have some weird shenanigans on here then it settles, like now :A.
However, a saunter over to the Foxes thread on HUKD (sounds like a night club) and it is like an alternate universe. Very strange discussions, all caused by biscuits?
They seem to have overlooked normal HUKD etiquette with no photos of receipts required and just gone on all out attack.
Odd. On that note, I bid you good evening (with still points and no vouchers from yesterday).

Good news. Just popped back to say 3v website has rebranded as Pay.com - it appears that they are continuing with 3v/Pay.com branded cards - this may explain why all the stock has pretty much run out while the takeover went through, and now new stocks will be released under the new brand? Card design is almost identical anyway so you will know when you see them instore. https://www.pay.com/gift takes you to 3vprepaid.com.
