Well as we all seem to be disclosing who we really are ;);), I have been masquerading as 3Dogs when I had become 2Dogs, 0Dogs, then 1Dogs, and 2Dogs, but finally, today I became 3Dogs again :j

And here's the beauty - meet Noela, an old girl, stray from Romania, rescued from the 'killing Shelter' Pallady Christmas 2013, hence her name, and been in private shelter since until I offered her a home. I picked her up from a very cold car park off the M1 in Leicestershire today, and she was absolutely terrified!! Had to carry her inside the house in her crate, with help from a friend who I also picked up a little blind dog for, and just give her time to settle a bit. She is still frightened when I go anywhere near her, but came out of the crate and settled in Millie's little bed. This is going to take some time, to socialise her, but she is worth it! :happyhear

I will quote Berry's FB update on here to let you see what he thinks all about it!!!

Having had Mam in end-of-life unit for 2 1/2 years and Alan going from finding out he had cancer to losing the battle in just over 4 months, I would chose the latter if I could. Watching someone waste away is dreadful, for them too. Loss of dignity and the pain and trauma they go through, no-one should have to go through. At least Alan did what he wanted for most of that 4 months and was only incapable for the last 10 days or so. I know that Alan would not have wanted to go through months and months or deterioration :( My sympathies and thoughts are with you both. Similar problem with my Mam living up North, but she had rest of family around her, but very hard when she was so far away

Bonnie dog gorgeous. Coincidentally my neighbour across road recently brought home romanian ßtray i don't know if he went over or not. But its a vaisala. Brown and white.

Its a bit skitty but it will settle.

This is update 'Berry Bear' posted on FB hehe:

Update from our very shocked Berry Bear!!!

Well my Mam has gone and really done it this time. Remember when she brought The Rat a.k.a. Millie home? Well that worked out OK I suppose as she spends most of her time on our Ma's knee or under the covers with Mam in bed, though she don't half yap!! But that's the girls for us ain't it? Yap yap yap. However she ain't too bad I suppose, and I let her finish off any food I have left in my bowl when she's finished hers, coz I is a gentleman, of course
Anyway, I digress, mam went out mid morning and when she came back, she only brought another dog with her!!! I mean to say, I was outnumbered already with Ma and Millie, but this new one is a girl too! Mam introduced her as Noela and told me that she came from the same place as me, that brutal country Romania, and it was my Juliana who saved her too, pulling her from the awful killing shelter Pallady. Now, I've lived my long life on the streets, never been in one of those 'shelters' and never want to be, so you gotta have some sympathy for a dog that's been through all that. And she must have some issues that she, and we, will have to deal with, in time

So, you got to give the gal a chance haven't you? I thought you'd say that :( My plan of action so far has been to ignore the fact that there is another dog in the house coz to be honest, as long as I get my meals, have my lovely comfy bed, access to the garden, and know that Mammy loves me the most, then that's enough for me
The Rat Millie, of course, tried to get to know the new girl straight away, but I could see that Noela - nice name, by the way, I like it - was terrified, poor old girl, and exhausted too, and I know what that long journey is like, but of course Millie didn't appreciate that. Straight in her face she was!!! Typical female!

But we are all settled, me on my lush bed, Millie on Ma's lap and Noela in her open crate till she finds her feet, so all is fine ..... I suppose wink emoticon

Guess she will settle in and we will all live happily ever after, that's the plan, Mammy said

HANG ON, hold that thought!!! We've all just been out in the garden for a wee, all in same place of course, Millie, then Noela and then me, and when we came back in, I was toddling up the hall and what did I find? She was on my lush bed!!!! But when Mammy came in, she got frightened and tried to get on the side table, knocking everything flying. While Ma was clearing that up - no damage done luckily - I got back on my bed and Noela chose the smallest bed to curl up in, The Rat's hahaha. I'm happy enough with that

Night night all, I'll keep you informed how it goes, with our new addition to the family x x x

    Evenin'

Bin lurkin' don't like the agro-not here but referenced.

    Hope all well.

Msm is pretty reliable for a, T, s and w. Comps v M are anyone's guess sometimes which is why savvy's posts are so helpful. :D
Normally ... means it'll show na. But not when it comes to v M. :D

When you do your shop and after 3 hours use apg system, you will be able to see all your items v each shop. Should help you to see if you understood it correctly. Hth

On a different note - if m and m says on 31/1 you collected enough points for £5, does it mean I'l get £5 voucher next time I buy something? I've only done 3 shops, biscuits, peppers (to get vouchers), random stuff (to use vouchers). Def didn'T get enough points for another voucher and that total seems to be the same as I was expecting.:think:

I wouldn't put it so pessimistically, but yes it is a bit haphazard.
It could of course work the other way - if someone had bought the Quorn Chicken Style Burgers, for example, and seeing they are £1.99 for A and "---" for M, they might have a nice surprise that they return vs 93p. I don't usually try Avs M deliberate N/A as you never know, M might stock the product but you just didn't notice it!

I wouldn't put the A frozen Toad in the Hole (300g) on an M comp. Shows 85p for A on msm but M "---". I expect it to compare vs £1.00:rotfl:. Not that I am any good - I bought the M item (called M Toad in the Hole 300g strangely enough) the other day and it appears it didn't pick up A's price. Out by 15p, which I am hoping will, eventually:eek:, arrive in my account and put me right, thanks to that excellent CS person. 15p?!?:eek: But it's a £5 voucher trigger:D:cool:.

EDIT: I think the answer's "Yes" to your question of whether you'll get a £5 voucher when you next buy something. I'm hoping it will be two £5 vouchers for me next time though, so I'm not buying again just yet but waiting for the remaining amount to be in my account first.

Lots of rescuers operating in Romania and in UK, bringing these dogs over, out of the hell that they live in. Good to know your neighbour has taken one in

Some people question bringing these dogs from other countries when we have so many strays in UK, and so many here are put to sleep as unable to find homes in time, BUT the dogs in Romania, and some other Eastern block countries, as well as Greece, Spain, and the far east, go through horrors we can only imagine - in fact, you can;t imagine what some of them have gone through and many are still going through :( - and at least in the majority of cases animals are treated with respect and dignity here, and euthanised humanely, not how it is done over there, I can assure you. I deal with cases every day, see horrors I never dreamt of, and have to do something for them. It is not their fault they are born into this hell. They have no voice, so I speak for them

Anyway, I am off to bed now as I am actually going to the car boot for the first time since 10-11-13 - I remember the date as it was Alan's birthday and I had tears running down my face whenever I started to talk to anyone. My friends are up here from Hampshire so they are picking me up at 10am

Sleep well everyone, bless you all :A

Just heads up that I may have a bit of a problem doing the Morr. price collection on Monday. If so, it'll be the first day I've missed since... what? Probably about 8 or 9 months, whenever I first decided, after M went online, that the online data was too inadequate. I have, well I would call it an "emergency", except that's it's something I can try to plan around and try to get sorted out on Monday so that it's not an "emergency" at all, but, obviously, if things don't go to plan on Monday, and then plan B contingency kicks in, but they don't go to that and plan C is invoked:rotfl:, then I might not have much ability to do the check or :eek:might have to rely on one store (and be making guesses or have omissions in my information - so might not be what it usually is. This only affects perfectionists working to the highest possible standard like myself though, so I won't worry/most of you wouldn't worry). I did have a potential problem several weeks ago, but didn't mention anything about it and fortunately it worked out more than fine, even though it was 'touch and go' the day before. So it might all work out fine - or even less touch and go than the 'issue' of weeks ago, and not be a problem at all. But I've let you know this time. Probably be fine and I'm making all a fuss here:rotfl:.

You can wait till Wednesday though if it came to that - just like the old style!:D:rotfl: I know it's a 'heavy' commitment and far beyond what's necessary!
