I have moved on......so it might be me that. is seeing thing differently?
In a way I am glad you have moved on if that means moving forward. One of the first posts I read here was what you went through August 2012:(
This thread has given me a whole new view on money and how and where to spend it and has also given me good friends who are on the end of an email or phone.
I have noticed a change in posters frequencies but also others coming to the forefront finding new glitches.
This thread is here all the time and I have no doubt that regulars pop up when you post like TM, Tinyshoes, DM and David. Everyone's life evolves and this thread is sometimes read but not posted on.
I rarely glitch but love to know i can should it be something I need.
Finances also change but we will never go back to being the complete Muggles we once were:)

Thanks also for the boots bag of goodies you brought round from the boots sale, much appreciated.
Does anyone know how long the biscuit glitch is likely to work for??
I think this will work until the time Sada change their price or mr m removes the 50 point offer x thanks so much to Hollie for sharing this, also thanks to whoever mentioned boots 90% starting today - by the time I get into work today I am hoping to have a fiat 500 full of biscuits and boots sale stuff x
A house divided against itself cannot stand - I love this proverb, and thanks to my lovely family for making me realise that we can get through most things together0 -

Morning petal. Just reading back your posts. They were a little lost amongst the biscuits
Sorry about your friend. I say yours(and not firstly your Dad) as she has clearly has had a significant part of you growing up. Its never easy to lose chunks of your life.
This place has evolved again but I agree with VT I think it always will. Sometimes its more support to me emotionally than financially. My training is long done its only updates I require. I don't need stashes to feel secure. I still enjoy my freebies and little gains but I don't run out door at drop of hat like before.
Like you my focus is elsewhere and when you read on here it looks like a savage frenzy frankly. Like your favourite coffee shop getting extremely popular and no seats for the regulars. Posts get lost.
Maybe it will quieten when the shops shut and we can have a lock in :j
Thinking of you xxxxx0 -
I think I am going to call in the morning to speak to someone about it. The shame is Mum was an Auxillary Nurse for many years and looked after many old people and I know she had to wash, dress and help with their toilet needs. What I would like is a meeting with the nurse concerned to ask her to her face what she thought she was doing. The thing is what happens to old people with no one to stand up for them.
Thanks SunshineMummy for your comment too.
Good morning all
Really sorry to hear about your mum Rose.
Can I suggest you start the conversation by asking for the nurses side of the story rather than going in all guns blazing. You are right to be upset but may find you get a better outcome if you give nurse chance to explain.
I have had to carry out a number of disciplines due to my job and there are always at least 2 sides to the tale. It doesn't excuse it but you don't know what else was going on at the time.
I hope your mum is ok now0 -

Morning everyone. No biscuits for me either. I will only eat them then spend months trying to lose the weight I have put on.
I am sticking to my Asda/wombling which although is rubbish at the minute due to the good prices, but still contributes to lowering my monthly spend. I am trying to get my cupboards down to a more manageable level. I should use my last paroli tomatoes on the next few weeks. The next ones I will be going on to are already out of date. I did hit the chocs hard over Xmas, but am giving loads away for prizes at after school/school/etc. I have not done the oil / toiletry glitch as have loads already from previous, although did get 1 shop of McCoys on the last day and 1 shop of Special K bars as we eat these anyway.
Shopping is taking too much time in my life which is already full to bursting. I am hoping to reduce this and get on with real life instead, not sure how yet, but want to stop weekend shopping as is taking too much time. Think I might try Fri pm instead for my grocery shopping and keep weekends free for the family.0
