Got 48 packs of biccies shame i rarely eat them. Still family are pleased. But upset tonight as found out that when Mum was in hospital over the weekend she had a problem with a nurse. Apparently she got a stain on the bedclothes , dont need to say what, and the nurse started shouting at her that she would have to bring home the sheets and wash and press them, that there were people who were much iller than her and then she put the call bell out of Mum's reach. Mum eventually got her to put it where she could reach it but she was awake all night she was so upset. She came home yesterday afternoon and this came out today. Not sure exactly what to do about it.
I couldn't read this and not reply
How awful for your mum, I think you really need to write a letter of complaint and also phone the relevant people to make sure this member of staff isn't allowed to treat anyone else like that x take care xOne cannot change the past, but one can ruin the present by worrying over the future.0 -

I think the best thing for me to do is pop in and buy something tomorrow and if nothing comes out then I will know they came out yesterday. Thank you:A also struggling to keep my eyes open
Night all x
Better logging into the website ILTS. it's way more reliable than the app. My app thinks I haven't shopped since 14th Nov last yeardespite the fact I've shopped today and spent vouchers since then. The vouchers I earned today aren't showing in the app but do on the website

I meant to ask earlier...
Has anyone ever seen this message on the MSM app?
No I haven't experienced that yet - maybe it only pops up if you access a product within a certain amount of time from the price rise?
With all these advances, it would be jolly decent of them if they could bring back the APG scanner in the app please. It is may still there in the background but has been somehow disabled.

There should be forms on every ward that you can ask for to put in a complaint. I wouldn't be able to help myself. My Mum has been at rock bottom in hospital 3 times in as many years and each time I thought she might not get home, but she has. One occasion myself and one of my sisters were in the hospital at 3am very upset about how Mum was being treated on a particular ward. And there aren't many people in a hospital at that hour to complain to. Thing is, at the time, she had 2 conditions and each one would normally be treated on each of 2 different wards. We knew we needed her in the other one to the one she was on, otherwise she would have no hope of making it through the next 24 hours. She was moved at about 8am!0 -

And jam, of course.
Thanks, I have all those things to use up already and then some!'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

I think I am going to call in the morning to speak to someone about it. The shame is Mum was an Auxillary Nurse for many years and looked after many old people and I know she had to wash, dress and help with their toilet needs. What I would like is a meeting with the nurse concerned to ask her to her face what she thought she was doing. The thing is what happens to old people with no one to stand up for them.
Thanks SunshineMummy for your comment too.0 -
