Think we might be able to have a bit of fun with this guys..:D:D

Hollie, thank you so much for sharing the biscuit bargain on here!

Reckon we are going to need an elite diet thread with the amount of biscuits being bought. :D

I managed to get some on way back from work, so they've gone straight into food bank bag. Hopefully this will run for a few days, as can't be bothered to go back out tonight (already in my pjs :o).

Downloaded the morrisons app and noticed the deodorant I've just started using has got points on, so may grab a couple of those too.

Ooh, what kind? Any jammy-dippy ones?:)

No idea yet. I'm doing my annual 'use everything up in the cupboards'. I have made a batch of chocolate and cherry cupcakes, to dish out tomorrow. Going to fill them with jam and smother them in buttercream and a wee bit of leftover chocolate fudge later (not as sweet as it sounds, I swear!)

Hi Sarah this a c&c order where the store had the persil rtc at 3.50 but goes through on .com at 6.85 and compares v morrisons at £4.00 does that make sense? you obviously need to check store first to see if rtc!

[1] Not really, but I've still got to work this out in the fullness of time. I was under the impression (obviously wrong) that a temporary card couldn't get you any vouchers - only the 'real' one would do that. Obviously I need to register:o:o.

[2] I'll just to have to pretend that I only bought £15 in the first place!:rotfl:

I know it's been asked before - and not sure if it had been answered - I really ought to search back - but, anyway, seeing as it's me;), how long are the vouchers valid for?

Think I might just wait till the real card arrives - plenty of time, whenever I eventually pick up a reduced item or something then get the vouchers rather than have them forcing me to spend again with £5 vouchers in the next few weeks or so if that's so.

    Think it's 56 weeks:)

I'm still trying to get my head around whether I can rinse and repeat and whether using my husbands M&M card whose surname is same as mine living at same address would trigger a merge of points and not allow a second shop because I would reach any of the limits. I'm still totally unclear as to whether we are talking per transaction or per account, or per household
So I'm dissecting their T&C's from the website........

    Earning Points

    1. General Rules
    2. You can earn “Match points” under our Price Match Guarantee, where we match our total price for your comparable shopping with products at Asda, Aldi, Lidl, Sainsbury’s and Tesco. See Price Match Guarantee below for more details. OK GOT THAT
    3. You can earn “More” points offered by us on selected products. These are available at stores, M Local, petrol stations and online (offers may very). If you use a Pay at the Pump terminal, you will need to use your personalised Match & More Card, not a temporary card or key fob. See More points offers below for more details. OK GOT THAT
    4. It may take up to 72 hours for points you have earned to be added to your Match & More Card. OK.TODAY IT TOOK JUST 2 HOURS FROM SHOP TO APPEARING ON MY ACCOUNT
    5. The total amount of points you can earn is capped to 100,000 points in a calendar month. Points earned that exceed this cap may show up on a receipt at the time of purchase but will not be allocated to your account. THIS IS A LITTLE BIT TROUBLING. CAUSE YOU WON'T KNOW IF YOU ARE GONNA GET THEM AT TIME OF DOING YOUR SHOP CAUSE THEY WILL PROBABLY STILL SHOW ON YOUR RECEIPT Additional caps apply to More points, see below.
    6. Points cannot be exchanged for cash. FAIR ENOUGH
    7. If you do not have your Match & More Card with you during an eligible transaction, you have 30 days to claim your points via any in-store Customer Service desk. You will need to keep your receipt to do so. You may not add points from more than 2 receipts in any 14 day period. REALLY DON'T WANT TO FORGET TO USE CARD AS DOESN'T GIVE MUCH FLEXIBILITY FOR ADDING WOMBLES
    8. You have 28 days following an eligible transaction in which to query the number of points that you have earned. Please contact us by phone to do so. AGAIN MIGHT NOT WANT TO RAISE PROFILE
    9. More points offers
    10. More points offers are made at our discretion and subject to product availability. GET OUT OF JAIL CARD FOR THEM!
    11. In addition to the overall cap on points you may earn in any month, we may cap the number of More points you can earn in any offer. MORE GET OUT OF JAIL FREE
    12. We may exclude you from Match & More, cancel your card and close your account at our reasonable discretion. For example, we may do so if we believe that you have breached these terms and conditions, have defrauded or attempted to defraud us or any of our other customers, or otherwise attempted to abuse Match & More. GREY AREA
    13. If you buy more than 10 items of one identical product, only 10 of them are eligible for Match points under our Price Match Guarantee. HENCE MAX OF 10 OF A BARCODE FOR MATCH POINTS. GOT IT!

But good news, possibly, depending on how long this lasts (more the issue may be whether Mr A increases the price on Wednesday) is that is a new calendar month soon!:j

On condition 10, I don't think that necessarily is a 'get out of jail' for them. Product non-availability fair enough, but "at our discretion" may be open to dispute - may purport to give them exclusive rights to interpret how they like and that may be argued to be unfair and arguably against Unfair Contract Terms regulations.

Arguably anyone buying the biscuits in this way, i.e. only biscuits in a shop and over £15, is abusing the scheme, so we all could be excluded from M&M (despite merely making use of two overlapping sets of offers). Does cancelling cards and closing accounts mean defaulting on their own promises of vouchers? May lead to monetary loss by the customer - in such circumstances, maybe again could be argued to be unfair and therefore strike a line through the applicable part(s) of the term! Grey area? There should never (under my 'black and white' thinking approach again) be any grey area - all terms should be clear and in plain language. However, that may or may not be an automatic strike out - I'd have to check what the regulations say! They'd therefore have to define exactly what was meant by "abuse" - maybe we do not want them to do that for, while something may be ambiguous, we'd be entitled to the "most favourable interpretation" to ourselves. Better, you might say, that ambiguities remain, so that we can have such an interpretation rather than have terms defined clearly to give the more unfavourable interpretation which might not be unfair.

I may be completely wrong, as I am not an expert.

Noted that exclusion, cancelling and closing is at our "reasonable" discretion, whatever that may mean:rotfl:, whereas More points offers are not. ( I think they mean whether they choose to make More points offers or not. Clearly, in the case of the Fox's, or anything else having a More points offer at the moment, they have decided to have such an offer - although it's all confusing as they may be invitations rather than offers under contractual law. May depend whether people use the SS or not, but that's a long and complex technical legal issue.)

The Morribobs biscuit glitch is not one for me (I'm on a low-spend-to-zero-spend mission) but it's a lot of fun reading everyone's biscuity escapades:) and especially how people are swapping advice and pooling their knowledge for the greater good:T

Not for me either...what with the crisps last week...all I see is ill health...sorry :(
