  • Afternoon nanny, you must show us some pics of your handy work when you get a minute ;). This kind of look is so expensive in the shops, and I bet you get great pleasure in doing it and must be proud of your fab results :T

Will have a little look on you tube, thank you :)

I can thoroughly recommend Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. No prepping required ! There's lots of you tubes showing AS paint effects x

I will have to get DDLala to do that for me hampy and like you say am very pleased with what I do and the results I get:T
I second the comments about the Annie Sloan Chalk paint and wish I had found it years ago as it takes all the hard work out of prepping on paint projects and so easy to do:T
  • No idea yet. I'm doing my annual 'use everything up in the cupboards'. I have made a batch of chocolate and cherry cupcakes, to dish out tomorrow. Going to fill them with jam and smother them in buttercream and a wee bit of leftover chocolate fudge later (not as sweet as it sounds, I swear!)
If that's the theme, let me know if you need any glace cherries, sliced almonds, fairy dust (icing sugar with edible glitter) or mini marshmallows; though I can't guarantee that everything is still in date:)
    And jam, of course.

I got 16 packs of biscuits for my girls. I can't have anymore in the house! But I will go back tomorrow and buy another 16 packs for my sister to have at her house. Best not to buy them for the diabetic inlaws.
If I can keep rinse and repeating then I'll give a shedload to foodbank also :)
