Also, has anyone ever been let go by a MS agency and then been taken back? I don't mean GYP by the way.

Yes, but I had to do a lot of grovelling and do a job as a test again. Quite a number won't touch you again though.

Love days like today. Got the emergency email this morning about a job to complete by the end of the day - I left it until 2pm to contact the company.

Got the already overinflated fee for completion by close of business doubled.:D

I learnt from previous experience, would you believe the GfK Swedish stores flew out for this weekend? You wouldn't catch me in there on a bank holiday.

I had a lovely tour of the RA electricals yesterday - went out early though to do the jobs and home by noon. Somebody decided to dump back on the board the GFK Swedish shops as obviously thought the better of it.

I did one of the RA electricals yesterday as I was passing by it. It was a store I wouldn't normally set foot in, and the visit was horrid. The staff member was so rude to me and after I had detailed the scenario snapped 'look in the catalogue'. It was probably the worst shop I have ever done as there really wasn't anything positive to say. I hope I get paid, it almost sounds like I wasn't there as they gave me no information at all.

I have done about six of these so far and my experience thus far is that the store staff know SFA on any of the products and its like pulling hens teeth to get any information. Some of the stores did not have any items from the client on the shop floor to view and had a discussion around what is the catalogue and what could be offered.

I had a feeling this may be the case as have done MS jobs in some of these type of outlets before and have similar experience.

Well hopefully if they are getting the same message from all shoppers they won't be suspicious of my report.

Note it, report it accurately, complete the shop and move on. This is the information the client wants, a round of smiles and perfect shops with give them nothing.
