Well I think this is part of the problem. Whilst there are plenty of people out there who "treat MS as a hobby" and are happy with a free meal out, it will never pay a living wage.

I do hope these hobby shoppers are registered for tax...

Must admit my understanding is there is no such thing as a 'free' meal - as it is a 'benefit in kind' unless your under the tax threshold and even then you still have to register with hmrc. Most of the UK based ones you have to give your NI number and address, so pretty sure they have links to hrmc systems so can report who they have paid.

Doesn't appear to be a limit on the new RA jobs, could be quite an earner.

They fit in quite nicely with other things I have in the diary next week.

Agree - I will be facinated to see what recommendations are made or whether the staff in situ will have a 'scooby' as mine are mainly diy chains or computer stores and they don't often have detailed knowledge of any particular product from previous experience.

...and they are easy to "guide" so you are not in the place for an hour ;-)

I had an ESA perfume visit that was supposed to take a bit less than 10 minutes, 20 minutes later...

For those down South the real benefit of the MF glasses visit is a paid for eye test, quite a saving if you were going anyway, up here we get them free so not worth the bother to be honest.

is it really a benefit or "worth it" though when tesco opticians is always free and specsavers usually is with a webvoucher too... if you really needed one, there are ways to get one free and not do a report like "up north" :p;)

Did not know that, that's handy.

On MF there is a phone call assignment which requires the shopper to call via an 0870 number to record the conversation. A 10-minute call to the 0870 number would reduce the effective fee significantly - is there any way around this?

For anyone who is having problems accessing RA Prophet system (today) - they are having problems as the system keeps going down.
I rang them and as I could not access the notes for the jobs I am supposed to be doing today and they will hold the jobs open for me. If you are in the same situation - may be best to ring them

(Guessing it maybe that they released alot of jobs and all and sundry have being trying to access the system)
