GR is hopeless as unless you are able to log on the second you get the message forget it. I haven't time.

The email says that jobs have been made available within the last hour, they could have been on the job board 59 minutes before you get the email.

I often get assignments on GR a while after getting the email. Often there will be more than one assignment to the same slapper and you can only do one, meaning the rest are left for others.

think I did Chav gear today for MF and yes the reimbursement had dropped from early last year, and they are really picknicity saying that shoppers don't do it properly, cheeky or what?. In another of their jobs I noticed I had an increase in fee of a miniscule amount

I did one last year and ended up having to answer some really random question from the client some weeks later after the report was submitted. Wouldn't have minded but the question was not in the brief or asked to look out for. Got the impression they are an outfit who just raise questions for the sake of it. Not a job I would rush to do again.

With GR there is literally only 1 or 2 jobs at a time and my box is always at a 0 by the time I've looked, some shoppers must check their boards constantly, I haven't time tbh. Wish GR offered more at a time.

I only get GR jobs, if I see the email, flash across the screen and login straight away. I have looked intermittently before at their board but have never picked a job up via that route. They are popular as the reporting is pretty easy and the fee is generally OK. The ones I would not rush to do again, is the catalogue shop as it was very embaressing the number of enquiries, you had to make in a small store and the phoneshop - the phoneshop is a 'hangover' from doing too many TNS phoneshops in the past.
  • Is anyone else finding GAP hopeless at the moment? I was getting on quite well with them, doing 2+ jobs a week, getting some decent premiums etc. The last while, they've been awful. I keep getting phone calls from people who can't understand me, and half the time I can't understand them. This is not something I normally have a problem with, regardless of where on the planet a callcentre is based. It's also not something that used to be an issue with GAP. I'm starting to suspect they've opened a new office somewhere to save even more money, and the staff maybe learned English at school but haven't actually used it until now.

They changed the date of a job - brought it forward by several days while I was on holiday, then lots of aggro about why I hadn't done it. Recently I had a call where I agreed to do a job, got a confirmation email. 3 minutes later, the same person called back and said I couldn't do the job after all, there was some issue with the time frame, and it was cancelled. They called me after the job was meant to have taken place and demanded to know why I hadn't done it.

I've had replies to emails acknowledged by GAP, then a different employee contacts me to demand a reply. I don't know what the hell is going on, but it wasn't like this before, and it's putting me off dealing with them. It's a shame - the phone calls used to be the way to get the best premiums.

They dumped their Pulpit Rock (Australia) call centre and moved it wholesale to Malaysia. All the original call centre staff have been replaced and as you say, there is a mutual extra difficulty in understanding accents. I'm sure there's a bigger story behind the change that s not being disclosed, and although I have had the odd issues with jobs being changed, they have always been fair and for this reason alone I'm happy to continue.
  • The emails seem to occur when I'm working and not able to access emails but I'm sure at some point I'll be able to do another job for them. I don't like the phone jobs particularly. I haven't been offered the catalogue job by them again even though I thought I did 2 for them perfectly well.

Have done some work for MF this week and half expecting a PR query about something trivial. Never have pr query from anyone else. No room for nuance in.their reports

When do service measures pay after completing a job. Tia x

Assuming you get your invoice in good time then money should be in your bank on the 16th of the month after you complete your assignment.
