    I've been Money Tipped!
Picked up a dirty burger job tonight which the company had been trying to allocate for 3 weeks. Fee offered was pretty good for the job, but knew they were desperate, so I doubled the increased fee, added on a few more pounds for good measure and told them that's how much I'd visit for. They came back with a counter offer. I stuck to my guns, turning down their offer. They offered the fee I asked for 5 mins later. :-) :-) :-)

Savoured every bite of the burger and even enjoyed the floor show put on for me too.

Amazing what they'll pay if they're desperate!

    Gotta love month end!:D
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?
  • From the comments posted it seems obvious to me why RM are losing companies.
    "Paid mileage"..."Good fees".
Along comes the behemoth that is MF.
"this is all you get take it or leave it".
Immediately the cost to the client is drastically reduced.
I never did any RM, could never get into their "preferred list".

Yep - would agree - whenever MF get a job from another agency they always reduced the fees to scrape the bottom of the barrel. RM make it such a challenge to get any of their jobs, that people probably give up in the end, which perhaps is what their 'preferred shoppers' want.

Looked at the MF supermarket audit - I do wonder who picks these jobs up for the fees quoted - bu they do go so assume people are happy to do for the pay.

Round here, no one. I had a conversation with someone from MF on Friday, they are still insisting they are looking for people who would be passing or going there anyway, I pointed out that they needed a professional shopper and someone who knew how to get in, get out and do the job quickly first time.
  • The fees on MF are getting worse e.g small amount for an enquiry that involved alot of hassle on board today, forget it

Need to fill in a paper tax form (can't do it online as unable to log in and nobody at HMRC will answer the phone).
I have only earned around £500 the last tax year. Do I just need to complete the paper tax form, and submit my spreadsheet of all the payments I recieved and send it to HMRC. Is there anything else?

Strangely there were two on my board and looked back couple hours later and they were gone. Don't disagree with your comment that you need to know what you are doing as otherwise you will be there for a lot longer than than the suggested 40 mins.

Guess you are referring to their jewellery task. I think I will avoid - might as well sit in the comfort of your own home and do some pinecone surveys.

God! I hate the email layouts of Reatil Active...with all the bright colors, huge difference in font sizes and information of assignments of the whole of UK... looks very much as spam, it's difficult to take these emails seriously.
