Is it normal for companies like MF to reduce their fee and still pay the same reimbursement for a job you have done at least 10 visits for over the past year'. Do they think the shoppers do not notice and it seems wrong.

Also GFK is very quiet. I used to get loads of emails but now nothing and very little on the board.

At the moment I have one regular slot so not too bothered plus my day job but it does seem very quiet on all the boards.

1) you've shaved off some of your chest hair so you can stick your camera to your chest better

2) you're already driving to the first job of the day when the early email from RA comes through. Youve set off early to make sure you can get to the furthest store away and shop it at 2 minutes past 8.


You know you're not into MS enough when:

1) you work for an MSC but can't spell "mystery"! You know who you are! Actually, perhaps you don't!

No surprise with MF as they have done that before. GFK seemed to have lost a few clients to other agencies, so tend to find that work from them is very intermittent.

MS work does come in waves - currently have enough to keep me busy. You perhaps need to join other agencies to increase the amount of opportunities you see.

MSL has took the speaker shops from the American agency, and almost halved the fee.

You are not converting currency, it is about a quid less.

I agree with Louis - it is less than half what I received when I did one last month :-(

Apologies to both, you are quite right, I was thinking of the other US MSC.

Blast, that was a good assignment when the US company had it. And apart from the fee it's with an MSC with whom I rarely get assigned work. Oh well. :-(

Of course they are not bothered but I have still emailed them to point it out and I think all shoppers should do so especially when it has always been a higher amount. Deflation isn't good. I liked doing this particular job.
