I had a little google and your autocomplete history might be corrupt.Try this:
Clear Forms and Passwords Information in the AutoComplete History
To clear forms and passwords information in the AutoComplete settings in Internet Explorer:
1.Start Internet Explorer.
2.On the Tools menu, click Internet Options
.3.On the Content tab, click AutoComplete.
4.Click Clear Forms, click Clear Passwords, and then click OK.
if that doesn't work read this
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/251787
but be sure to backup your registry before you try changing it.0 -

My friend also had Norton but it didnt pick up most of the spyware that AVG and Spybot picked up.
My advice is to uninstall Norton and install a free anti-virus like AVG or Avast.
Dont forget Spybot & Ad-Aware !!!0 -
Just for your information Heidi, and earlier you advised that you tried two dates and SR indicated no changes. System Restore will not work until "protection" is turned off for your Symantec(Norton) product. I can only relate to Internet Security 2006 though.
Open up Security Centre - click options - antivirus(on the drop down menu) - miscellaneous (under other)- then at the bottom untick Turn protection on. Then System Restore should work.
Then reverse the protection by ticking the Turn on box.0 -
