I have had another pm from the OP, apparently the invoices make no mention of v.a.t.
I have again urged her to put the invoices up on here; hopefully we will know more soon. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

As this is now in an open forum the Piemaster will go all the way with this, he does enjoy a day in court. So unless you pay you really need to work on a defence.
They are claiming the person parked there for an agreed amount. The driver/keeper now has to show that the offer was not conveyed adequately, or the amount is an unfair term.
A District Judge wont give a rats ar5e over anything to do with VAT being chargeable or not.
As I posted earlier CPS choose their cases well, they no doubt lose money doing court case's but the Pieman receives some sort of buzz from appearing at court.0 -

Perhaps not, but he may disallow the case on GPEOL as, unless v.a.t. has been accounted for, it cannot be a contractual charge.
You seem to have far more respect for this company than I have, they win their cases, (not many), because they go up against dummies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

I have no respect at all for this company at all, and we go back a loooooooong time.
Yes he wins a few that's why I said he chooses them well!
You do not always need to produce a VAT receipt. I had several businesses were I paid VAT on sales but didn't need to produce a VAT receipt.0 -

Indeed, but have you read this?

Yes he wins a few. He beat Stephen Thomas who went on a forum and admitted being the driver. Later in court he tried to claim he was not driving, of course the judge found for perky.
How would he fare I wonder against a well constructed defence, especially if his mark was the victim of a perverse IAS decision which was later produced in court..You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
