i Think my moan on here triggered something, I've had a couple more sales now..I've now overtaken the very poor sales I've had daily for the past week or two. Still not brilliant, but certainly picking up and it's given me the motivation to list some new items.

  • We had a decent 7 days at the end of January but from about last Wednesday it's all trailed off again. The "new stock being listed" theory might have legs as we haven't put any new stock on since the Tuesday.
  • January appeared to be no different from last December. Sorry!

Well my moan definitely worked- exactly as it used to if I had a moan on the Amazon boards when I sold there. I've sold about 2 days worth of stuff in less than 24 hours.

Perhaps listing completely new stock (none of which has sold yet!) and having a moan switches my account back on, who knows

I will have to try listing some new stock, my sales are a bit slack at the moment. I'm only a fledgling business, however, I have had weekends where I have sold 3 times as much as this weekend.
Has anyone been offered free listings? About 50,000? On their business account? :rotfl: somehow I don't think i will get round to using them all!

I get the 50,000 free offer occasionally, I have a lot of stuff on TL that I keep just for those offers, However I rarely manage more than 200 more than my usual stock

That sounds like a great idea-thanks for that.
I have quite a bit of stuff ready to list. Guess that's what I will be doing for the next few days. Offer is from 9th -15th.

    Yay, thank you!

I went and checked my business account and I have the 50,000 offer, I've just accepted it. Brilliant...

As a side note, I might start a 'have a moan' thread, we used to have an Amazon one years ago where people could just post if they were finding things slow- just in case a public moan helped. what do you think?

    Sounds like a plan!
I'm still in my first year of trading, and need to submit my first SA by next january. i'm thinking of trying to submit it just after tax year ends-so may or june time. that way, it gets it out of the way and if ive made any errors in my calculations, i will still have until next january to pay my tax. what do you think?
