eBay finally granted itself permission to do what it's likely been itching to do for a long time: hide listings it deems unworthy for unspecified reasons from showing up in search results.
That's nearly 18 months old! Our sales have pretty much doubled in that time.

I don't know about crumbs but they keep sending us truck loads of loaves! It's lucky I don't have a yeast allergy!

However, the rolling on/off suggestion appears to have some basis in truth, my sales yesterday and today are nearly back up to pre Christmas levels from almost no sales at all the few days previous.

Last week of the month - people are starting to get paid. I always dip around this time and then pick up as the month end nears.

It must work to some people's advantage, so well done.
My biggest problem was the "rules" seeming to change without any notice or letting you know what you needed to do to conform.

The payday affect didn't work for me this time round, my sales completely stalled. I then had to put my holiday settings on for 3 and a half days due to work commitments, and had a very small flurry of sales when I went live again, but almost dead since then.

One of the conspiracy theorists on the power seller board mentioned that they seemed to only get sales when they added new stock , so I put up some brand new listings and had a small flurry of sales- only to have it die again.

If I don't have a sale before 1pm ish today it will mean no sales for me in a 24 hour period, I don't recall the last time that happened.

I have had interest from a few of my items on Friday Ad so hopefully can arrange a sale there this week.

This kept happening to me. I saw something about stopping listings and restarting, putting new listings up, etc. I spent a couple of days putting the effort in and it did work for a bit but then fell off again.
I had a few good listings that required no attention but was finding it harder and harder to sell new products that were doing well elsewhere. My Ebay stock was often priced lower than Amazon and Amazon was selling two to one and more.
I know Ebay have been trialling pay per click ads, I'll see how they work for others and when they get rolled out. My Amazon ads really boost new listings and are minimal cost, so hopefully Ebay's will be similar. Although, I can't see me going back until later in the year, if at all.

I've just had 2 sales, literally within a minute of each other to different people. Both bought the exact same item and same variation from a MVL.

At least I haven't gone 24 hours without a sale, which is some small consolation.

I'm just putting some more awkwardly large items up on Friday Ad now

Didn't pick up for me at all either - busy Sunday, but been a really quiet week here too, notice people saying the same thing on other boards (but some people seem to be doing well).

There certainly seems to be people doing OK looking at the chat on the boards, perhaps it will be our turn next:D

I have had a little tiny flurry of sales now-well 5 in the past 75 minutes, and I've splurged out on some new stock as well.

At this rate though i'll be forced to go and do some housework- no excuse about needing to pack things!
