I would ditch the tablecloth on the table that is in the conservatory. Tablecloths remind me of my 70's childhood. I think the table would look more classy if it had a centrepiece of either flowers or fruit. The conservatory deserves something with more "WOW" factor. Oh, and open the blinds :D

I would also mimic what other members have said about kerb appeal. It lacks colour.

    Very nice house though. :T

Hi - Finally the house is on the market and I was hoping for some constructive criticism regarding price and description / photos / presentation.

    Be gentle please;)

    Hi there

I have just moved from Nantwich, the Stapeley development so whereabouts in Nantwich are you? Houses on the stapeley development by Cronkinsons pub were being put up for sale for £145k for a 2 bedroomed terraced.

Looks like a nice house, but are you near nantwich town centre??? Nantwich is a beautiful town and I miss it, but it also has its dodgy areas!

Edited to say, I agree with the conservatory. Open the blinds, get shot of the tablecloth and put a nice display on the table instead, either nice fresh flowers or a funky modern vase with a modern display in it. Looks like your garden is a good size.. I reckon you should do well with the sale given its Nantwich.. which is a lot more expensive the cruddy Crewe.

When I am selling a house I am going to get a friend with a Merc or BMW to park in my driveway for the pictures-remember you're selling a "lifestyle" :D

EDIT: maybe I'll have a Merc by then hee hee

    Thanks:j

I have emailed the EA with some additions to the details - highlighting double glazing, shower over bath, washing machine space.

The front of the house does actually have borders with flowers in and 4 hanging baskets but they don't show up on the little pics on rightmove - they are more evident on the EA details though. The house does have kerb appeal IRL !!

The pictures look great except for the conservatory one - it looks a bit bland and cold:
    - I would open the blinds: I don't mean pull them back, just swivel them so that you can see the garden through them. Also if you are intending to include the blinds you could have that added to the description.
    - I'd also turn the table 90 degrees and move it out into the middle of the space: make it look more like a permanent dining area. You could also "dress" the table as has been suggested (something with a bit of colour would be good).

I also like to see a picture of the bathroom and a floor plan.

Definitely agree about the conservatory! The rest looks lovely; the garden looks huge! I would definitely have a look at your house if I were in the market at the moment, and in your area. I appreciate the fact that everything is spotless... it is definitely hard to keep things that way, but at least people can see that you've made an effort.

Looks good, the few things I would do....

Put some containers with flowers in closer to the road at the front to make it look a bit more colourful from the kerb (you can always take them with you when you move)

Tilt the blinds in the conservatory, closed blinds make me think you're very overlooked, and would put me off a bit. I'd also put some flowers on the table in the conservatory, it looks a bit bleak.

I'd take the footstool out of the lounge, your suite is dark coloured and seeing more of the pale carpet will make the room look bigger.

I would get them to take a photo of the bathroom and one bedroom, but as someone said if the shape of the room causes the photos to look odd don't use them.

    Best of Luck.

I'd be cautious about including pictures of the bedrooms given that one and three are long and narrow and two is really a small single / study. It might be difficult to get a picture which doesn't accentuate this.

Is that how they sound from the sizes ?

Bedroom one is absolutely massive -we have a super king size bed, 2 double wardrobes, massive chest of drawers in there and there is still loads of floor space - it's not narrow at all.

Bedroom 2 is also a double room and bedroom 3 although smaller is not a tiny 3rd bedroom - bigger than the majority of 3rd bedrooms in semis we've looked at.
